The Fall was a fucking great band at their peak. Their 1980s run of albums was fantastic. The Brix years were the best Fall years, inho.

McLaren visited Soweto, plagiarised the music, stiffed the musicians and made a fortune on the excuse that because South Africa was a Country under International sanctions, he was justified in swindling the poor and exploiting their poverty.
Paul Simon at least had the decency to credit Ladysmith Black Mambazo for their contributions.

This is like one of those songs that play in an 80s teen comedy/drama where our protagonists band together and do some project to better their situation or beat the rich kids / corporate big wig.
