I hope Kinghorne uses his time at Toulouse to improve his try scoring dives. He’s a tall man, but it’s not acceptable

This is kind of what Wayne Barnes has been saying the last week. The Benetton try that wasn’t given for “no control”, the ref was happy to give it but the TMO pressurised her into not giving it.
But the try they did score looked to me like the whole defensive line was off side, but no TMO intervention- I doubt it was even considered
Breather boy really failed Luke Crosbie, imo. You could see the Italian player's head fly back int he collision and Crosbie went off for an HIA.

This isn’t exactly an earth shattering revelation but Ben Healy is really fucking good. I had considered him to be a ‘kicking’ 10 before he came across but the quality of his passing and identification of space is exceptional.
He’s what’s know as a “stand off”

Didn't the ref take the decision to the TMO as no try? Was driving with commentary on my phone, was there enough evidence to overturn?

I thought the ref was saying there was enough downward pressure for her but the TMO was banging on about losing control

Seven minutes of really poor, error strewn play and we are under pressure now

Ridiculous try to give away.
No one taking responsibility. Duhan makes a bollocks of it, Healy just has to kick that rather than dump it off to an isolated prop. Then Kinghorn does that.
Utter shambles.

You could go and make a cup of tea come back and Vellacott still won't have played the ball.

Men standing still, not running on to the ball and moving sideways and passing on to static players. Basics are missing.

It's a 18-19 stone player high and moving into the tackle. Clear a red as you'll get.

Vellacot doing his best to dispel any conspiracy theories about Price arriving
Ritchie showed throughout the game why he is Scotlands 6 and why he shouldn’t be captain

Edinburgh got everything they deserved from that second half performance, in fact the only thing they didn’t deserve was the losing bonus point. It’s as if someone flicks a switch and the entire team goes into headless chicken mode at the same time !

No idea why he was chirping in when Healy was asking GG what to do at the end.

Fucked off now. Decent start to the season and now they blow it at home against a mid-table side.

Yep. Same old Edinburgh. Headless chickens. Error on error and coughed the game up. The leadership on the pitch is continuously awful.

I think he's a breath of fresh air. Paterson is like an automaton trotting out the same old pish about lessons and faux positivity. Wilson and Barcs are great.
