Look, Fangle, if you want to vote for Trump, go ahead and do it.

If you look at Trump and say "that man is representative of me and what I stand for", that is your right.

If you look at Trump and feel that he is the sort of trustworthy person in whose hands America's democracy will be safe, you are perfectly entitled to hold that view.

If you admire his business acumen and feel that his superior understanding of the arts of deal-making will benefit the American economy rather than his immediate family and other billionaires, maybe you are right.

Perhaps you despise liberals and long to see them weep at the prospect of the damage that four more years of Trump will probably incur. Perhaps you feel that It's not the Trump supporters who are the aggressors, but rather that the democrats are the instigators of violence.

But I don't see how you can complain of being judged as rather less than intellectually flawed and morally bankrupt if you re-elect Trump.

How can you possibly expect not to be judged disparagingly, if this is the man you feel represents you best?

Exactly...I am a repub, but no fan of Trump and pulled the lever for Biden.

But the holier than thou attitude is funny, because just like last time, when they asked lots of these Trump voters who voted for Obama why? They said it is the only way to say $#)*$)@*$*)@ you to elites.

Like Chelsea Handler telling 50 Cent he must have forgotten he was black. It goes on and on.

I am hoping the Repubs some how miraculously hold unto the Senate.
Why would you wish that? From this distance they seem to be, or are at least led by, a feckless bunch of self serving, low dealing scum who skim across illegibility if not outright treason. The only real difference between them and Trump is that most are more articulate. Now, perhaps the Dems are no different, or you just can't abide their policies no matter how poor the incumbents are, but, you did not say that. Instead, you gave some, breathless and addled reasoning around a celebrity, or other, pissing you off, and took umbrage at someone's ham fisted interaction with another celebrity.

If that is what it takes to treat the critical right, and a privilege, to vote so casually, no wonder politics and democracy in the US is at such a low ebb.

Give us strength. A fucking celebrity, for pity's sake!!!

Yep. It's very unlikely. I also think the response of the respective (potential) presidents would be quite different and therefore the authorities response to the protests. Unfortunately, though I hope I am wrong on all these points and that there is no violence, I also think that Trump supporters are much more likely to resort to gun violence.

Perhaps it's simply, not being reported, but I've yet to see anything fromDem supporters that comes close to the Trump fanatics as far as instigating or threatening violence goes whether it be the attempt on Michigan's governor or the *ahem* escort given to Biden's campaign bus the other day. Those are just the headlines, there's all sorts of micro stuff going on. Places like r/PublicFreakout have stuff like Trumpers lining the streets just far away enough from polling places to not be called on voter intimidation including one particularly deranged instance of a man screaming at people that he had their license plate number and they were going to vote Trump whether they liked it or not.

The point I'm making is that, if you choose a man like Trump as representative of your values and your thought processes, I don't see how you can complain when your values and thought processes are judged to be deficient.

Fangle is complaining that Dems are at fault for not regarding Trump supporters as having sufficient nous, but it's not just the Dems who are shaking their heads at the stupidity of Trump and his supporters: most of the Western World outside of America is marvelling at the gullibility of the American electorate to hand this man the keys to the kingdom and most of the rest are laughing their cocks off.

i don;t think he;s losing there, but I think that they;re getting nervous; they also want a pile of court cases, even ones that they lose or get thrown out before they even get to the merits, so that they have something to point to

For what it;s worth, I think Biden's going to win with around 350 EC votes, but the turnout is going to distort this

Yeah, if there wasn't a term limit I think he'd be looking at a fourth term.

Actually it's interesting how America often follows decent, popular presidents with absolute pricks, massively flawed or just useless candidates nominated from both sides.

Trump has gone from 2.72 to 3.0 on the Exchanges.

I really want Trump to win. It gives us (normies) a stay of execution from the mounting dark forces of the left. For a least a while anyway.

However, I'm pragmatic, I've followed the exchanges for a while and there has been incredible amounts of money on Biden (when I say Biden, I really mean Harris as it should be obvious to anyone that's who is really intended to be the next POTUS) but that's how the Left rolls. Biden will sneak this I think.

I got 40.00 on my bet and it was just to good an option not to have a cast.
