Only watched one episode and was not blown away by it. But will give it another shot.
First episode is very much a case of introducing a ton of different characters, it did feel a bit stilted, definitely improved as it goes on in my opinion though.
Ok, wifey and I finished watching it last night. Enjoyed it overall, only negatives I have is some of the CGI and acting was below par. It's quite staggering considering the budget they had. I'd give it a 6/10, perhaps even a 7/10 based purely on the fact that there were gratuitous boobies being shown throughout the series. Said gratuitous nudity should always trump average CGI and acting in my humble opinion.
I too finished it last night. Quantity of boobies declined from the start.
Very easy to watch and trotted along at a good paste.

We only have a 32" TV so a lot of the CGI looks real to me.

Have to agree, why England shouldn't get any more international football  Good doco though, surprised the Coppers didn't round up the idiots admitting they got in without a ticket.

Fully remastered Blake's 7 coming on DVD, with remastered special effects.

By the looks of that trailer, the upgrades to the SF are pretty good and the video has been upgraded to high def at least.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

For once the Beeb didn't store the prints under a leaking pipe, or destroy them

I think there's actually HD upscales of the series knocking around, but a full remaster treatment would be outstanding

What's that about then?

Watched The Cowboy War (Netflix), which surprisingly turned out to be a documentary, interesting in a prequel to Trump way.

Greek Gods in a modern setting. Jeff Goldblum is Zeus.

Working our way through Succession and just watched the episode where Logan hits his grandson with a can. As the parent of a similar child, I'm a bit traumatized.

Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams on Tour. I'm as hard as nails obviously, but this is making even me get dusty eyes. Fella deserves a Knighthood.

I've heard that a site called bingewatch.to could be of interest.

Slow Horses as brilliant as ever. Only one episode released, I thought that they were going to be weekly 'pairs'...

Worth watching?

Seen the first episode and a bit more, mildly interested so far but there's a feckload of seasons to get through.

Some sad news:
An 18-year-old who appeared in Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams BBC TV show has died following a crash.

Umar Mahmood was driving an Audi A3 Sport when it left the road and hit trees on Chain Caul Way, in Preston, at about 22:55 BST on Tuesday. A 16-year-old boy travelling in the back of the vehicle was also killed.

The first episode of The Penguin was gloriously good.
Colin Farrell is unrecognisable and utterly superb.

Rather enjoying Bad Monkey on Apple+ too.

Agatha looks to be a hard pass after the first episode.

Threads is on BBC4 tonight. Only the fourth time it's been broadcast since it was new in 1984 when it scared the shit out of the entire country.

BBC description is "Grim drama telling the story of a nuclear strike on Britain through the eyes of two families, tracing the events leading up to the war and the decade of devastation that follows."

Got the recording set. I remember that the whole country appeared in absolute shock.

I had nightmares for years after watching the original... not sure I want to re-live that...

There’s a new Wallace and Gromit for Christmas.

Well, Christmas Day on the BBC for those of us in the UK, the rest of you don’t get it until 3rd January. 😁

Edit - just found out it’s feature length as well.

I managed to avoid the Funko Pop spoiler disaster, but patted myself on the back for guessing anyway (not really that hard).

I'm too old for funko pops in my time line so I didn't get it either - presume it was about AP's character?

I understand there was an advert for the two "Who dis?" characters from the show with their actual identities on the boxes that aired one week into the show.

Season 2 of Special Ops: Lioness has started.
American CIA / Black ops fare but well done with decent cast and must have a good budget.

I like it but only problem is it's on Paramount +.
I wouldn't mind paying if everything was consolidated on one platform
