Italian backs passing is dreadful.
Dodgy handling made hard work of that opportunity too.

There was an italian over, that makes an offside line, there doesn't have to be a ruck...

Nope, and then an absolutely bone headed penalty off the restart.

Three stone dead tries gone begging and they’ll likely be 15 points down after half an hour. Fuck me

was there not a change recently that there are offside lines at a tackle, so it doesn't matter that there was no ruck?

Not even recently, it came from the fox that italy did to England all those years ago. Not the tackle, but there needs to be an italian over, there was, 2 arguably.

That's a harsh obstruction call, the player initiated the tackle, and the carrier continued going across, the player that tackled wasn't stopped from tackling the carrier by any means.
EDIT - It's "fair" just harsh.

And that's a ridiculous call to penalise wales for holding. Italian clearly the second man over the ruck there, can't put your hands in.

Italy are plumbing levels of incompetence in this game.
Apart from butchering at least 2 open goals, that last move. Pen advantage, ref twitching towards yellow cards, they go for a dumb kick, poorly executed, dumb collision in mid air. Pen to Wales.

Moronic from Italy so far, could have had four tries easily.
Denied a blatant penalty try, Karl Dickson of all people was the only one to notice it!
Hard to know what happens from here. Italy could totally implode, but if they calm down a little they’ll be back in the game in no time. Wales’ defence is very, very vulnerable.
Rhys Webb has been excellent

They've over played, been sucker punched by Gatland ball and have then let the frustration get to them.

Italy not dealing very well with playing in the 6N even after 20 years. They literally add nothing to the tournament apart from the odd upset win which then causes clowns to say stupid shit like they've arrived! and forza Italy etc, but the following game or year is just invariably the same turgid shite in front of a half empty stadium. But sure, "pinting in Rome" makes it all worth it
