Dweba coming back. Maybe to the Stormers? Would be a great signing.

It would be great to see him back on these shores. Stormers probably the best fit for him.

WP have reportedly also already signed contracts with Griquas scrumhalf Stefan Ungerer, Cheetahs fullback Clayton Blommetjies and Pumas loose forward Willie Engelbrecht.

Meanwhile, loose forward Junior Pokomela has signed a three-year deal that will see him play for the Stormers until at least 2024.

Does anyone know what’s happened to Sandstorm? He didn’t post for months here, maybe on PR?

Look like they struggle to get the bok out of Janties.
Springbok flyhalf Elton Jantjies was reportedly arrested at OR Tambo International Airport after landing from Dubai on Sunday morning.

According to News24, SA Rugby said they were aware of the 31-year-old flyhalf’s arrest after he was taken into custody following a flight from Dubai to Johannesburg.

"We've been informed of Elton's arrest, but we are still in the process of gathering more information and can't say anything at this stage," an SA Rugby spokesperson was quoted by News24.

The police said the player was arrested for “malicious damage to property.”

“The man was arrested upon arrival at ORTIA this morning at 08:50. The suspect was on an international flight from Dubai to SA when he allegedly damaged property belonging to the airline,” said Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Athlenda Mathe.

Apparently he was attempting to break down the planes kakhuis door using his fist. It is alleged that a stewardess was hiding in said kakhuis and that he was yelling "kom nou skatjie" whilst banging on the door until his fist bled. After failing to get the poor scared little dove to open the door for him he returned to his seat bleeding all over the place.

2 of the future Bok loose trio. Strong Northcliff High School accents. They qualify for the Boks but we have the extra requirement of a SA passport. I've harped on it before but our immigrant population is going to be an absolute treasure chest for our Boks going forward. We're also seeing kids like Cebo Dlamini who grew up in Greytown KZN emerging. A rural black african kid from a soccer supporting/playing demographic. 20 years old and came on for Lizo Gqoboka for the Bulls on Saturday. Overall a very bright outlook for our rugby.

He's always struck me as a mild-mannered, reserved guy. Sometimes those types let it all out when they've had a skinful.

He was better than Pollard for the better part of last year.

But I've no idea what form he (or any of our Japan-based players) is in.

I'd back him to do a Stephen Donald type job for us if we go deep into the knock-out stages and Pollard goes down. He's become a pretty solid no.10. We don't need flash or flair in knock-out games. Just a dependable kicker who can pass the ball and defend his channel.

Morne Steyn can do this 100% better.

The 37-year-old retired from international rugby last year after playing 68 Tests since making his debut against the British & Irish Lions in 2009. As was the case in the 2009, Steyn was South Africa's hero in the 2021 Lions series as his late penalty in the third Test helped the Boks to a 2-1 series victory.11 Jan 2022

Elton is a confidence type player. When everything goes well he excels, when he makes one mistake everything goes to shit. I don't know if I want a player like that playing for the Bok's. One missed kick and you lose a knock out game in a WC. I always knew if we were going to win or lose based on Elton's first attempt at post or how he took the first highball when he played for the Boks.

Why not? He is the Stormers defensive organizer, which is the best of the SA teams, he was a 7 specialist, so attink outstanding like yesterday's tries.

The Stormers have by far the best attacking/defensive backline at the moment.

He's certainly improved a great deal but not sure that we need to cap a 31 year old centre right now. If he was 5 years younger he might be worth a punt.

Ja, I've never like Nel, even when he played 7s. Likes to throw his toys out of his cot when when things don't go his way. Shouts at his teammates when they don't send him a nice pass. Just seems like a bit of a doos to me.

Hendrikse is just not a good scrumhalf yet. He's got some skills and is a good athlete but doesn't do the basics well enough. And he you're right is he a little kont! Even for a scrumhalf.
Its off-topic but how good is Caleb Abrahams the Grey Bloem no.9!! He's scoring Joost type tries from all over. He's a big guy just like JVDW too.
