Bummed out that Dweba is making silly mistakes. Annoyed with Willemse. Unfortunatly we don't have a sub for him, unless Morne plays 15.
Both Fassi and Fatty Steyn can play at 15.
And who will play wing in Fassi's place? Or 12 in Frans' spot?

Yup. What the second stingers do show us, is the gulf between:

Vermeulen > Wiese
Pollard > Jantjies
Am > Kriel
Le Roux > Willemse

We need to build some depth in those positions specifically.

So weird listening to the Supersport halftime pundits. It's like we are watching a completely different match.

Butch James going on about Dweba's great debut. :wtf:
I'm a HUGE Dweba fan, but he has not had a great showing...especially by his own standards. Scrums have been very good, but he's lost a lineout with an overthrow, and also lost the ball in contact when we had a decent attacking opportunity. They were also raving about Nkosi, who has been...okay. No massive mistakes, but hardly a great half by him either. Just weird man. Maybe I'm too critical...or they are under instructions not to say anything negative?

Massive scrum by the Boks.

Such a weapon if you can get it right. Not only does it take the wind out of the opposition pack to be bossed like that, but it also is a point generator as long as penalties are going to be farmed there and is also so disruptive for future opponents to plan a counter. They need to sacrifice potentially more mobile props with handling skills or speed, and it's also something that you can't just fix in a week if it is a weakness in your game. There is a real intimidation factor there.

Boks need 2 more tries. With the start and scrum dominance we've had, it would be criminal to walk away from this game without a bonus point.

Mother of god. Free kick to Arg they punt somewhere they won't contest only for it to come back to be contested just where they kicked from.... and lose it. Just friggin' thick.

Fassi's height really coming into play in those kick-chases. I'm sure Rassie and Nienaber have noticed.

I think he might have leapfrogged Nkosi into the 3rd spot.

15 phases and the Boks go for posts. Not sure that was the right call.

Yes, scoreboard pressure is a thing, but we are heading into the final quarter. Boks need to up the tempo now and score 2 tries.

Wiese's first mistake of the match.

Reinach doesn’t know how to build tempo and speed at the ruck. Pauses at every 3rd ruck and we lose momentum. Smith and McDermott so much better this morning.

Agreed. Might be worth it bringing Hendrikse on. I don't like him much, but he can play at tempo; and that's what we need.

There was a knock-on, when the ref was playing knock-on advantage, but that's the only other one I can recall. Must have missed one.

He and Etzebeth have both been solid yes. Glad Lood is clocking up some playing minutes. Don't think he's gone 60+ minutes in ages for the Boks.

SA so far offside at every ruck that Arg can only go backwards.

Sanchez f**ks up as he throws the ball in panic before he gets tackled.
