Point taken, but it's still won us a world cup, a Lions series and a series against Wales.
The few we lost was very close.

I am with you on the kicking. I don’t mind in our own half but vokkit when they close to the opposition 22 and Faf stick out that boot. I,d like to see our forwards dominating and our backs open it up in the second half.

Still I think our rush defense will be the decider against the All Blacks. They don't like it in your face.

Looking at that Bok team, there really is a lot of versatility there.

1 who can play 3
7 who can play 5
14 who can play 15
15 who can play 10 or 12
20 who can play 5 or 7
21 who can play 6, 7 or 8
23 who can play 11, 14 or 15

Largely so we can have a 6/2 split. And it goes offer options when someone gets injured.

It will be interesting to see how Kurt-Lee plays. He's great with ball in hand, but the Boks will be expecting him to compete in the air more than anything.

1 loss to the ABs, 1 win
Lost both games against Aus.

It really waa a poor showing for us.
We are definitely a bit more upbeat after playing in the NH against players that beat the ABs and Aussies

I am not entirely convinced

I hope it's more like the second test last year.. that was bloody entertaining with SA surprising us with their running game. Any chance of that on Saturday?

 I doubt it. We do have some good counter attackers though so I'd expect forward grinding, kicking and maybe the odd moment of backline flair from us.

SANZAAR quite clearly prioritising spectacle over safety. Tone deaf in the week that 180 former players launched their legal action. Kiwis and Aussies want to bankrupt the game it seems.
Truly boggles the mind.
As anybody who watched the Ireland-NZ series would be aware, until such time as refs can establish perfect (or at least some semblance of) consistency in the awarding of red cards, a 20 minute stand down is a must.

Yes, referees are human and will unfortunately make mistakes, but the flip side of the coin is the majority of red cards are issued for legitimate foul play without any mitigating circumstances. This stand down rule makes a mockery World Rugby 's objective of putting player safety first above "entertainment" value. Not to mention opens the door for thugs/repeat offenders to get stuck in without any real consequences during the match.

I don't agree with it at all, but let's see how it all pans out for Sanzaar and World Rugby.

Clarke at 107kg is marked by 76kg Arendse! Hopefully he has a massive turning circle and Kurt-lee can do some stepping. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly but didn't Julian Savea have a bit of a problem with that? If Arendse passes the test on defence against Clarke I'll be convinced that he has a place in Test rugby. But for now its a concern for me.

Clarke wil run over/around Arendse all night long. This is where our rush defense come in. Wing rush into midfielders

I’m certainly not ‘backing’ anyone with that statement. I referring to the way our halves have played and will probably play again this time around.

Coach tinkers at the edges and doesn’t address the core issue.

I’ve spelt out how I feel several times in the thread….

Hate seeing my team lose but it oooks like we need to see some sort of crisis happen to force change, and change is needed.

It’s just a shitty space to be in for now and we just have to ride it out.

I don't buy into the idea that this is a weak All Blacks side. Yes, they are coming off a series loss and their confidence is low, but that is a team stacked with talent.

This rivalry always brings the best out of both teams. There is just something so special about this fixture.

Here's to a great game, may the best team win

Looking around Bok supporters are being too bangbroek going into this one. The Boks have the stronger pack and the All Blacks have players that haven't played against the Boks in SA before, the last time the All Blacks played in SA was 2018. The Boks are favourites going in and it would be disappointing if they don't win.

If the ABs win tomorrow it will relieve the pressure on Foster and put all the pressure on Rassie again. If the ABs win both and the Aussies one we will be sitting in a worse position than the ABs are in now.

It's a must win for both sides. There is a lot at stake here
