What? He overroade the suggestion of the TMO that it was AB hands in the ruck which caused the ball the squeeze out for Moodie. If he wanted it to be a try he would've just agreed with his TMO on that point. We've certainly seen similar efforts penalised elsewhere.

Another issue with this 1st ref/2nd ref concept is that it encourages player to constantly question the 1st ref and 2nd ref to relook at every single event. Players now constantly in the 1st refs face knowing that he doesn't have full control.
