Yeah. Very much the modern, mobile type.

I'm not sure I played on a worst mud bath than the arg aus pitch at u14 schools team.

Need to be more specific.

That's a fantastic try.

All the refs wearing Trump ear badges. Shocking.

England need to do some on field problem solving around the breakdown. Not sending in enough men to secure the ball pretty consistently now.

Try will draw focus, but that was yet another penalty advantage, surely a warning is due?

Apart from the fumble and the forward pass it was great...

Surprised there was no yellow for a high tackle by England about 10m out, looked pretty bad. But England just look disjointed and need to calm down at half time. They haven't handled the French breakdown threats very well either.

England score the first try.

Also, very negative by Fra going for posts instead of the corner whereas Eng been much braver. Same thing cost Fra the RWC 1/4 against SA.

Line up a back to crash through the heart of the Eng pack. Way to go Carbonneau

Not the first pass from the 9 with no obvious recipient that ends up being snatched at and knocked on.

Total BS. How was the high tackle by Eng in the attack in the corner 1st half not a yellow then?

Lazy shoulder to the head should be a yellow, regardless of whether the one in the first half was given

I'm liking the scrum half at 8, almost Jonny May-esque.

Yes, but some things shouldn't be about evening it up - I'd rather some correct decisions rather than none when headshots are involved

I'm all for that, but on first view it looked like the shoulder touch the hand of the England player which was held up in front of him.

It's not a hill I'm going to die on though because I think players need to tackle low as a matter of habit.

Game over. Gonna be accused of salty tears etc but this Eng side really is rugby cancer. All brute force and zero craft. Not the stuff to draw spectators to the sport.

Yeah: maybe try running and/or passing occasionally Reus

Kick to touch --> Eng lineout --> monster maul --> pen. Real smart.

It might not have manifest in this game so far, but they've played plenty of rugby in prior games when they've actually been able to hang onto the ball.
