There seems to be a tradition forming of hill walkers throwing stones at the bloody things, long may that continue. I hurled a few at one on Arthur's Seat last year then felt a bit guilty as it was filming a wedding party.

We've had an email today that states the company is lacking in diversity and the executive will be working on a plan to improve the situation.

I'd like a little bit more context than that. By what metric are we lacking in diversity? The implication is that there's a level where we're no longer lacking, what is that and how was it determined? Where do we currently sit in relation to it?
So, how many wringer outs for one - armed window cleaners do you have? Just asking. We can drill down from there.
I'll let you know if anyone from management deigns to answer any of my questions.

I miss my Turkish barber. I doubt there is a personal grooming problem he doesn’t have a solution for.

I say  I certainly didn’t mean to imply adjustment of one’s clothing other than a cravat, for instance.

If he's anything like the Turkish barber I used to go to, he'll have a miniature flaming stave to singe off all the rogue hairs - very alarming the first time you see it looming in the mirror

I was a bit tense the first time tbf, but I got more relaxed in due course. Waxing the nose hairs is a bit of a rite of passage

Rental car companies who try to charge you for repairs for damage caused by other drivers due to their lazy staff, shit processes and documentation.

Despite the disinterest of agency staff upon pick up, thank Christ I had taken clear pictures of a decent black stripe on my white SUV in the Europcar parking lot in Queensland last week because as sure as night follows day, they tried to chase me for the repair charge.

I replied stating the facts of the matter, providing two photos and a third showing the time stamp.

Two days later I got an apology and a retraction of the damage claim.

I commonly make hot lemon drinks for me and my wife, with a healthy teaspoon of honey, on cold days but today my wife offered to make it. What could possibly go wrong, you ask.

She figured that the more vitamin C the better, so squeezed the juice from a dozen lemons for each cup and added a wee bit of hot water.

What annoys me is a hot lemon drink made from 90% lemon juice and 10% hot water.

Hell, yes. The next time she made hot lemon, it was potable.

Illogical online processes.

All too predictably, the online forgotten password reset process for the Myki public transport card prompts me for my old password before I can complete said process.

* facepalm *

Rather than take it further I just fvck the online system off in favour of machine and over the counter top up. Life is too short.

When I first signed up to hotmail it was before Microsoft got their grubby little paws on it and I had a three letter password.

When Microsoft took them over, it wouldn't accept my password because of insufficient characters. Fortunately the passport recovery process allowed my gmail addy to be used, so I was able to recover my emails. Not so lucky with Skype, though, which Microsoft also usurped and all contacts and conversations on Skype were lost forever.

Seasonal aisles in the Supermarkets that are not seasonal.

FFS Tesco have been loaded with Easter stuff for more than 3 weeks.

Plus they had loads of BBQ stuff for sale as well.
That is putting the mockers on this springs weather.

I once rented a car from Europcar in Italy which broke down after three days. They made me waste a day returning it (it would go, but had a mysterious engine warning light), made me pay for the petrol I used in the process, and then tried to bill me for non-existent damage to the car. I ignored them. In the end they passed it to some form of debt collection agency (I think). I managed to speak to someone who spoke English in the end. I told her the story, that the car had been otherwise fine when I handed it back, and that I denied I owed them anything. Somewhat to my surprise, they went away and stopped bothering me.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

... who cares if a drone user goes out into the hills? Better than down at the local park!

One of the dailies here did a feature a few years back that tl:dr said they were the worst of a lousy bunch.

Fair to say that despite their retraction and apology I won't be availing myself of their fleet in future.

I forget the vendor now, but for password reset...

They send you an email with a link, in the link, my email is show, but I'm asked to verify if again.

It's the correct address if I got the fooking link you dumb cunts!!!

then it ask you to set a new password, but does not require that to be verified.

What stupid cunt dreamed up this procedure, a fucking idiot?
