Very dumb by Koroibete. Has a go, fails, loses his footing, tries again, dives over, and just grabs the ball. Stop testing this ref it's not going to end well.

Ref needs to get a grip on all the afters though - TJP was out of line with White there for the crime of tackling him.

Yep. He'd already gained around 10 metres with a good hit. So dumb.

Defensively he's been a monster. You lose that with A Smith. Positionally average but the forwards are making it harder for him to get clean ball. First clean ball he got lead to a try.

There is a school of thought out there that lowering the tackle height actually increases concussions.

Its normally heads on knees and heads on hips that leave people sparked out. These high shots that we see carded rarely knock the recipient out.

And I believe the studies show statistically its actually the tackler who gets knocked out not the ballcarrier.

Joe Moody in the Auckland test for example.

There may be a school of thought, but all the people that went to university, watched thousands of tackles and recorded the outcomes, came to a different conclusion... so perhaps we'll just stick with their opinion.

Yes, hitting hips/knees is bad too, but not as dangerous as upright tackles.
