How can you be proud of that? How is South African Rugby going to get better when they simply refuse to play rugby?

The SA medics were on the field longer than some of the subs.

Even if Mostert had caught that last pass, he was totally isolated and running at 5 AB forwards.

Boks are very badly coached and can’t play with their brains. All skill and thought has been drilled out of us.

We are our own worst enemies. Our forward pack set a great platform, and as usual we kick it all away.

Watching Faf box-kick when we're 21 meters from the All Black tryline is a just unforgivable.

AB did well to drag us into their tempo helter skelter play there at the end. Boks should just have kept calm and not kick away all the posession. Just dumb play, should have never lost that game.

Always proud of the Boks. Held the best team in the world out until the 78th minute. But you're right and all the Saffer posters here and on PR have been saying this for the last 2 years. Unfortunately matches against the AB's is not the right place to try and do anything radical. The time to try new stuff was against Argentina.

Well to be fair, you did manage to drag the game out for 2 hours. Add an extra 30 mins.

Need to watch it again, but initial impression was he caught all his throws. Not sure, but I think our lineout issues were elsewhere.

The "SA way" is too attritional, great if you play a few tests a year yeah otherwise you get the last three tests results

The word 'awful' comes to mind, but that would be too kind. The players and referee should all be required to give back their match fees for such an appalling display of footie. Yes, that may be a bit harsh on two or three players, but collective responsibility and all that...

When you see box kicks inside the opposition 22, you know something has gone badly wrong, with the pain alleviated only slightly by the ABs eventually managing not to lose (calling it a win would be far too kind). Worse still, it came almost immediately after the Canty-Southland match, which I thought at the time had reached a new low that would be difficult to match. But the ABs and Boks (and the ref) managed it quite comfortably.

I can only hope the WBs-Pumas match is a significant step up. Otherwise it'll have been a significant waste of a day. O me miserum.

The lineout losses all came when they didn't throw to Blackadder. The problem with that is that short balls to the front really limit your options and are much easier to defend.

It was not Blackadder at fault in the line outs. He was very steady at the front.
