To be fair, Reform exists solely to.push the Overton window ever rightwards. It's certainly serving a purpose for now, but UKIP also enjoyd this sort of coverage out of all proportion with their electoral achievements and look where that took us... Admittedly there's no longer a referendum over EU membership to agitate for and it's unlikely that the side they cannibalise from will be in power for a while and thus won't feel the pressure to introduce such a lunatic idea, but it remains something to be wary of.

I also suspect a party like the Greens might quite like to have their profile boosted a bit by receiving coverage that's even somewhat commensurate with their proportion of the vote.

Yeah, I still work in London my daughters live in London, all of my socialising is in London. I was born there too if that makes any difference. Our current live construction project is in London, as I said in my intro post the mosque I’m involved with is in London too.

When I was looking to buy a farm there weren’t really any available in London (there are some, but nothing suitable came up)

When we moved from London we had lots of friends saying shit like, yeah good move it’s getting so rough round here, wouldn’t want my daughters going out round here. This was in 2005, we worry more about our daughters going out round here than in London

I’ve travelled quite a lot in my life and I’ve never found a place I love as much.

It'll be worse come the General Election. Running with a blue rosette isn't a particularly attractive proposition and anyone somewhat intelligent or capable will be looking for work elsewhere (many Tory MPs have already declared their intent not to run again) and all that will be left are loons and the useless.

Yep, mental. When we lived in London the kids school was a 10 minute walk, we always walked them there, the woman round the corner 2 or 3 minutes nearer used to drop hers by car.

When I lived fairly centrally I used to amuse myself by sitting on the ledge of my flat window and watching motorists on the school run in 4x4s scream at each other for blocking the street (only enough space for one car at a time). Gave me hours of fun.

Said school had a bus stop right outside and was 5 mins walk from the tube station. Madness on stilts
