Still, Wood is in, and England not out of this until he’s gone.

Mark Wood could be wide open for an arm-ball I think. He backs away heaps

Edit - bugger; he saw it coming

Boom! Wood gone.

Good old ball replacement. Umpire must have handed over the wrong special ball to Wagner.

Crikey, didn't expect to find the game quite so well advanced this morning.

England really should have won this but I don't see NZ getting into this good a position again. I can easily see England winning the rest of the games this series.

He’s got a good point about the vagueness and half hearted approach in this series. While NZ are number one in the rankings they are nowhere near the best team in the world. What sort of statement would it have been for England if they walked out with an absolute swagger and treated NZ with disdain. Smash them at every turn and walk out of the series pointing at Aus saying you’re next.

Instead they’ve not really pushed anything. As the article says, it’s a warm up match/net session approach.
So what is the "best team"? Can't be Oz (beaten by India at home). Can't be India (smashed by NZ away). Certainly not England (currently being smashed at home by the NZ B team).

I’d have India, Australia, England and Sefrica all ahead of NZ as world test teams.

Don't worry about it, mate.

The Mockers seem to have fallen for it, though.

Yup. Both have bowlers taking wickets, but short of batters making runs.

Except that the BCs have taken 20 wickets in multiple tests in the last couple of years, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, and WIndies. Our real failures have been against Australia,

Stone gone first ball of the day. NZ need 38.

Edit: not Pammy like I originally said.

So what do we reckon - coast home with maybe 1 falling. Or NZ to give us a ride being 20 for 5 after 20 overs.

They don't want to shame him any further by having someone else be a better keeper.

You assume the BC batsmen would let any balls from Bracey go through to the keeper.

I think we may have left our bowlers with just a bit too much to do...

Latham plays an absolutely glorious on drive where not even the fielders bothered to run and the commentators don’t even mention it. Was that a highlight or did it actually happen?
