I am often critical of Dupont as in think he is overrated. Not this championship as he has been consistently very very good
You really are in LaLa land if you think Dupont is overrated.

That is very worrying. Was he a coach that was able to polish a collection of turds?

I've waited 50+ years for Eng to be the dumber side than Fra.
Hard to pick the bigger fool in that last phase or two.

Farrell was never as shite as the fans thought. Borthwick blinked. I think English people are particularly guilty of picking a vessel to pour all their scorn into
Farrell is as bad as the fans thought but everything has been set up to be based around him. The terrible conditions mean it is probably the worst time to actually try to play a bit more rugby which would have been the intent with Smith. Wet conditions mean you can't shift France forwards around a bit which you really need to do (Ireland did this very well). We have basically pissed away 3 years when we needed a rebuild.

Ah well. Steward was okay. Saw both the good (massively ups the pace) and the bad (can try to take too much on himself when chasing a game) of Mitchell. And that's about it. Congratulations France.

There was some stuff in the press before the game about a best combined 15 and I thought "Utter bollox, there isn't a single Eng fwd who'd make the Fre team".
As someone said earlier, fwds win the game and if you are bested in every position from 1-9, you will be hammered.

Fair play, completely outplayed.
I make that England's worst ever defeat. The only two worst by margin were severely understrength touring teams to OZ (98) and SA (07). This one was full strength at home.

He did awfully there but he also carried the most of anyone in the pack and made the most tackles of anyone on the pitch - fair to say he was knackered at that point regardless of how poorly he'd played
Absolute horror show from England, right from the start it was an absolute disaster. Just across the board appalling. One of the most humiliating results and doubly painful as I'd believed our pack was heading in the right direction. An absolute shitshow of errors, attitude, tactics, discipline, defence - you name it we fucked it for the full 80.
Made the u20s last night look good.
Not sure where England go from here, the guys in charge have no real experience to fall back on and our supposed areas of strength were brutally exposed. Just so bad that your choice is ignore it and pretend it didn't happen, or make sweeping changes in all areas. There's no hiding from just how bad that was in all areas.
