That's grand, perhaps next time you decide to start a conversation with someone just start with that.

With Pollard injured again surely, surely, they will call up a specialist flyhalf....

Proofs my point of how wrong it was of Nienaber to throw him without any game time intro the starting line up against the all Blacks and possibly fuck up his his bok career.

Possibly, is what i said. The outcry was loud and he was dropped, wasn't he?! I hope he will come back at test level from that setback, he is a good player.

Now why would I be anti Libbok? Your team didn't renew his contract and you write him off. We made a star out of him.

Rasnaber have already selected their group of players which include Johan Goosen.

Do you think they'll select someone from they outside before their big squad?

I understand your reasoning. PSdT is another one. He struggles all year since playing in Japan. Some of the Japan based players hit form quickly, like Marx.

Libbok can't play the Rasnaber way.
This is why he was a failure at the Bulls and a failure at the $harks.
At the WP/ Stormers they are trying to play a more complete game, with less of the mindless kicking of the ball away.

If chosen by Rasnaber and forced to play the Rasnaber game plan, he will fail again.

Ja, try to explain this to Sards whose Sharks team play exactly the same. He wants Libbok because it hurt him to see Willemse in 10 in a Bok jersey. Willemse is good enough to slot in 10/15 or 12 because he got the skills Sards struggle to understand.

Goosen looks way off the pace. He needs a full (injury-free) season with the Bulls first.

I'm not sure why Pollard played on Saturday, he also looked off the boil and was pulled off after a short while.

What I struggle to understand is why Nienaber refuses to give a specialist flyhalf a chance ahead of a 12....who is not a 10 no matter what the hype.

Libbok is like Blommetjies, he'll have you singing his praises the one week only to spit fire and chuck beer cans at the TV the next. They're not constant, mind you the Boks managed with Junkies inconsistent game for years.

What more must Willemse do to convince you? It's obvious how shite the Bok backline is without him. He can slot in any position in the backline and make a massive difference be it with Ellendigand Wille or Libbok and Blommetjies.

You don't like him because he is a Stormers and Cape talent.

His kicking is a massive problem, both from hand and from the tee.

I'd still risk starting him at 10 for the tour, but you can't ignore probably the most important aspect of the Bok gameplan.

They'll slot him in 15, if Goosen is fit. Myself will put him in 12 move Ellende to 13 and Kriel to Japan.

Blommetjies had good games for the Cheetahs too. Just like Junkies was considered a mercurial player when he was at the Lions and he had some great games for the Boks. But I'll hardly call any of them Mr dependable.

He has big boots to fill. His kicking is better then Gelant and he has fit in nicely with the Stormers. Dweba also had a good debut against a strong Embra scrum. Hope they keep it up.

Moodie out, Cheslin back
On the other side of the equation for Bok coach Jacques Nienaber, though, youngster Canan Moodie will miss the upcoming Tests against Ireland (November 5), France (November 12), Italy (November 19) and England (November 26) due to a hamstring injury he picked up during the United Rugby Championship game against Edinburgh recently.

Western Cape, rugby culture
A total of 19 players of the current Springbok squad were born in the Western Cape, more than the Eastern Cape and Gauteng combined.

Included in this contingent of players are Paarl’s Kurt-Lee Arendse, Canan Moodie, Salmaan Moerat and Grant Williams as well as Cape Town’s Eben Etzebeth, Damian de Allende, Jesse Kriel and Marvin Orie.

Eight current Springboks come from the Eastern Cape, including Elton Jantjies, captain Siya Kolisi and veteran Frans Steyn, who was born in Aliwal North.

A further eight Boks were born in Gauteng: Marco van Staden, Rynhardt Elstadt, Deon Fourie, Elrigh Louw, Ruan Nortje, Lood de Jager, Malcolm Marx and Joseph Dweba.

Mpumalanga has contributed five Springboks, including Duane Vermeulen and Faf de Klerk.

Four Springboks were born in the Free State: Franco Mostert, Ox Nche, Cobus Reinach and Bongi Mbonambi.

KwaZulu-Natal was the birthplace of two current Springboks: Ntuthuko Mchunu and Vincent Koch.

A further two Springboks, Marcell Coetzee and Andre Esterhuizen, were born in the North-West capital of Potchefstroom, while Jasper Wiese is the only Springbok born in the Northern Cape.

Apparently Pollard has sustained another knee injury in his 20 minn cameo for Leicester and needs more surgery. Will be out for the whole EOYT. With Elton gone he would be the only Specialist 10 in the squad, Willemse and Goosen the other options. Good news, wouldnt mind seeing him at 10 with Willemse at 12

They need to cap Sacha Mngomezulu asap. Hate for him to take the England path. His dad is a pom so he qualifies. I just don't think Goosen is ever going to be of much value to the Boks. He's going to breakdown like Chilli says.

The next two games will be his big test. The Stormers have so much depth in 10/12/15 will be great to see them all play for the Springboks. And they all have long term contracts.
