Good question.

Anyway, crisis averted, with the test confirmed as going ahead. And apparently captain Montoya wasn't stuck in NSW after all.

No idea why, but this week the ABs will be named at 2:30pm, so in about 20 minutes.

Will Jordan gone, too. Injured?

Very happy with that team, but again would've preferred Vaa'i on the bench rather than Tuipulotu.

I'm happy with Weber starting and with Savea in his best position. With you on Vaa'i over PT. I hope it was injury for Jordan

EDIT: the comment about Jordan came out wrong. I am not wishing an injury on him. If he is not injured, I would prefer him, or Bridge, over Dmac on the bench.

Think the backline impact off the bench is blunted by having both Mo'unga and Dmac.

Be interesting to see how aumua goes off the bench if it's close. Actually the lineout in general will be interesting, cost the all blacks a lot of opportunities

With Mo on the bench, the smart move would have been to include Bridge or Jordan rather than DMac.

Saturday’s Rugby Championship test between Australia and Argentina on the Gold Coast is in crisis because members of Argentina's squad are reportedly locked out of Queensland.

The Courier Mail reports that eight Pumas players and staff can’t get back into Queensland after a day trip across the state border to Byron Bay in New South Wales on Wednesday.

The players reportedly include Argentina captain Julian Montoya and two staff members, including the team manager.

They tried to return to their Gold Coast base on Wednesday night but were stopped by police on the border and refused entry to Queensland.

Yep, was hoping they'd rest Havili and start Tupaea. Fozzie's clearly hell-bent on shoehorning as many first fives into our backline as possible. Anyone who's ever played there for 5 minutes will do.

Happy our original backrow selected last week will get a go on Saturday. That last minute reshuffle played a big part in our breakdown woes, I reckon.

Sorry MM - I hit the edit button instead of the quote one and changed your post.

Just think if we lost a 12, we could end up with 3 #10s on the pitch - lots of kicking options to make any Saffer coach envious

If you count TJ as a 10 we could push for 4!

Boks wouldn't know what to do with themselves. Now if we said 4 kicking halfback rassie would be creaming himself

Yeah, it's a strange one all right. Their coach has reassured Saffer supporters that they have the right game plan but just need to execute it better, and such a small losing margin last time would indicate he's bang on. Their superior aerial DNA will surely prevail this time. Boks by 2.

All Blacks playing a bit flat - although this looked planned - he had to deal with a fair few passes on his hip/ behind him.

But yeah think line speed with a flat attack is asking for trouble. Mentioned it somewhere but midfield looked confused, Reiko often ended up next to Havili neither in position for an offload or clean out.

Was surprised that after years of ridiculously over done chips and grubbers from BB, they did none of them last week.

Yes, it seemed there were no plan B and more often than not it was Havili who got ball and defender at the same time.

Our loosies are still a bit unsettled, but it's good that we're developing consistency and experience in our pack. Even without Coles, Whitelock and Cane it's racking up a goodly number of caps.

What Kiwis have said that? Boks have always been our biggest rivals. 36% winning record is the reason why. No one else comes close.
