What happened to Bosch? We were told many, many times how the saaks were going to make him a Bok star.

Most of them cover 15 too. There is a huge difference between Jack of all trades and master of none and a specialist 10. For 10 I prefer a specialist. They must at least be able to kick accurately at posts. Pass the ball. Something Jack of all trades can't seem to do. We have already seen that when a JOATs plays 10 the backline doesn't score tries. Only the forwards
Yeah boet, you must have missed all rugby the last decade. Almost every 10 can cover 10 and 12 or 15. Think Barrett, Beale, Farrell, Frans Steyn, Goosen, Lolesio among others.Sards wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:37 pmMost of them cover 15 too. Carter also played 10 and 12. Ai boet.

Every 10 in the world can. Those others still don't come close to Carter . Maybe that's why. Focus on too much instead of doing 1 job properly
Not every player is an all time great. Point is, a player who only cover one position is a luxury.Sards wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 1:55 pmEvery 10 in the world can. Those others still don't come close to Carter . Maybe that's why. Focus on too much instead of doing 1 job properly

Goosen's a fraud. A turkey and a pretender. He doesn't belong anywhere near that list. And Francois Steyn is a very average no.10.Sards wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 1:55 pmEvery 10 in the world can. I'd like to see him in tandem with Kwagga and Fourie. Maybe Italy first.assfly wrote: Thu Oct 27, 2022 7:36 am For all my concerns about Roos' temperament, I'll be glad to see him given a chance.
He'll have to be ready to be wound-up by the likes of Itoje.

OK, so I've just read on the Springbok official website that 9 players from the Springbok squad will drop to the SA A squad after the first test.
Very happy that Jason Jenkins is included. Always rated him and love having monster locks in our team. He's also only 26 years old.
Elrigh Louw injured I assume.

That last weekend end of November falls outside the official international window. Hence the Boks will be without their French and English-based squad members. Dont know if the english clubs have released all England players, probably not. The japanese clubs have released their bok players for that testSards wrote: Fri Oct 28, 2022 11:45 amOK thanks

Stormers by far the biggest producers of Springbok rugby players.
They are being funded by SARU , to top up the salaries, who are administrators of WPRU. I have made peace with this. I almost feel sorry for WP now. It's one thing to produce. Another to be able to afford itOomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Oct 28, 2022 1:03 pm Stormers by far the biggest producers of Springbok rugby players.

This "resting" of Vermeulen worries me.
We've already got Wiese in the 8 jersey, and Roos pushing hard, and Kwagga as capable backup. But the way Rassie speaks of him it's like he's being rested so he can just walk into the 8 jersey at next year's world cup.

More stressed about the centres. Three crowbars and no playmaker. To many much sameness
Dude. Herschel and Dweba shouldn't be there. Much mich better players available. And surprisingly Sacha got the nod ahead of Chris and Jordan on one game for the Stormers.
