Head shot, taking players way beyond the ruck, tackles off the ball

Good defensive stand at the end.

Yaaaaaasssssssssss

Terrific win that, particularly with no regular test starters. Hastings was normal Hastings, apart from that the backs were excellent, front row wood up really well which is encouraging, thought Masibaka looked good too. Lot of positives to take from that not least our first ever win v the Māori in NZ

Masibaka looks like a player, that’s the first time I’ve seen him

Had a shocking first 15/20 minutes (including the yellow) then really grew into it

So let’s give it an hour and see why Tom English thought it was dreadful.

Phew worth getting up for. Number of cheap shots and tackles off the ball by the Maori was typical Kiwi. Great defence by our lads though.

Christie looked great then understandably faded a bit, Turner was very good and Bayliss.

Yet more evidence that Hutchinson has pissed on Townsends shows at some point, class as always

To be honest I thought Turner was 50/50 good and poor - his first throws were shocking and running into players instead of space or soft shoulders is so old now, plus he got isolated

I was expecting the pack to struggle in the scrum today. Impressed that they more than held their own.

Ali Price signed for Montpellier yesterday, I missed that.

Thought Hutchinson was anonymous until I noticed his gash cross field kick.

Yeah, not sure he deserves to be in the 23 ahead of PH next week. Ph had a beauty of a throw to the tail early in the second half over two pods of opposition lifters.

Recorded it and just watched it. Decent win, great game, but I'm astonished that no is talking about the appalling stamp on Smith's face. It's 07mins and 10 seconds into the game.

It was early, and I seem to have got Turner wrong, but I thought Hutch had some lovely touches throughout the game
