Nice by Daly, good hands by Freeman to collect, gibberish from the Italian cover defence.
He's been pretty poor this 6n

Good response from England, some really good initiative and decision making there

Wasn’t so much burned as decided he didn’t want to tackle like an amateur era winger

Doing what he does for Saints, nothing fancy, just the basic stuff really well.
He really has. As I’ve said before, I though he was 10 of the tournament a couple of years ago but has been very average since

Genge is spot on and as ever Jonker with England isn’t interested

Playing (occasionally) for anti-rugby Montpellier won't have helped. Maybe the move to Toulon might see a reversal of the decline.

At least 2 have choked on prawn sandwiches in the last 10 minutes.
Hasn't he been there 2 years now?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:45 pmPlaying (occasionally) for anti-rugby Montpellier won't have helped. Maybe the move to Toulon might see a reversal of the decline.

Entertaining half. Smith is ludicrously out of his depth at 15 in defence, move him to the wing, Freeman to 13 and Daly back to full back second half. Both Italian tries come from non existent backfield defence. Suspect England will tighten this game up in the second half

To counter that, I've always hated the fact that you can effectively have blockers in front of the ball carrier which is a nonsense and so if you are dumb enough to carry at the front, then you risk what you describe.Tichtheid wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:48 pm I really dislike that anti rugby law, you can spin a maul and get the turnover as it's not coming back
ITV are completely delusional when it comes to England, guess it must be an editorial decisionBlackmac wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:49 pm I'm really struggling to see how the commentators are praising the quality of the game. It's been largely very flat with a couple of quality plays but a lot of defensive errors.
