That was Wales best chance of winning a game. There is no way Wales's best player (Elton) will be on the pitch next week.

If you mean Sarra Elgan Rees, she is steeped in rugby and knows her stuff. She's a presenter on BT Sport rugby coverage, she is the daughter of Elgan Rees and is married to Simon Easterby
I wasn't asking what her rugby knowledge was. Plenty of former, great players who are dire commentators. She is pathetic. She makes Sonja Mcluaghlan seem bearable.

Not sure how Wales got that close except for SA ineptitude.

Trouble is, Wales have 3 players who, at one time or another, were the best in the world in their positions. All of them are shadows of former selves and arguably, all busted flushes. North is an empty shirt. AWJ nothing more than a bit part sub. Sanjay a journeyman.

Few sides could survive such losses and certainly not a country with those limited player resources.

Why on earth did the Wales scrumhalf kick the ball away with less than a minute left on the clock?

For what its worth you're right about the Boks display today. It was dire. As for being niggly maybe so. I don't think they've been an especially niggly team over the last few years. Not more so than England, France or NZ.

Don't even attempt to criticise him, according to many of my fellow Welshies, he's infallible and should start every game. IMO he's overrated.

I am pretty ambivalent to the whole NH/SH bullshit. I support Scotland and that is it. Pretty much neutral in all the rest, just hope to watch decent rugby. Unfortunately that SA team is everything that is bad about the game as it deteriorates in the professional era.

Yes. It was more like 20 seconds? F**king dim. Almost as dim as De Allende kicking it away with a 2 man overlap or Biggar's deliberate knock down.

It's not physical niggle, it's just some of the taunting that has crept into their game over the last few years. Possibly a result of the arrogance that their current dominance might bring, but not pleasant to watch. LeRoux in Biggar's face at the end was just disgraceful.

Terrible outing by the Boks. We were lucky to get the win. Wales really got under our skins and got the Boks panicking.

Elton and Faf were so fucking bad today. So many stupid mistakes and bad decisions. Just killed any momentum we were trying to build and put us under so much pressure.

The game changed almost immediately when Elton went off and Willie le Roux was great. Exactly the creative influence we need to spark some attacking play. Hope his critics shut the fuck up now.

Forwards need to work on their lineout and maul defense, and also their own maul. Lood had a bad first but a better second half. Mostert wasn’t great on the flank. Wiese was very good. Kolisi didn’t lift his game like we hoped he would in the green jersey.

Hope this lit a fire under the boys for next week. If this had been a match against the All Blacks we would have shipped 40-50 points easy playing like this.

Ahh, they play to their strengths. Just happen to have bigger nastier f’ers than anyone else at mo. I would like to see more emphasis on back play and skill but every time law makers make a change the pros find a way to negate it.

while doing his usual flappy bird impression (strangely not at the ref this time) stuck a hand out and got 2 fingers to a Bok pass and gave away the deliberate knock forward that lost them the game
