I'm not convinced he was actually out despite the commentators insisting he was.

So he had a HIA & passed it

Sharks simply needed fit Etzebeth to have a reasonable chance of competing here, Toulouse pack going to kill us.

Tshituka just not active enough in defence

Well that 1/2 flew by almost as quickly as Lebel and Williams.

Good game, both teams really tearing into one another, Toulouse just starting to edge it, but Sharks still have it in them to cause an upset

Both sides are making crucial errors. Toulouse finishing hasn't been great.

Probably losing this one by 10 to 20 points. But cut the errors and put together some brilliant backline plays and we're in with a chance.

Rare to see 2 sides in the NH trying to out-rugby one another. Great stuff.

What is the Toulouse bench like? Sharks is poor compared to starters

Much prefer this play from Bosch, a good reminder that he really is just a natural fullback.

That's why Mauvaka never threatens Marchand as a starter. He does so much, so well but is a serial pie chucker.

Hands too good, Sharks too narrow.

Don't think pens are going to do it for the Sharks, as many tries as possible

One specific commentator only has a lucky dip pot to call the player names of black players apparently.

Meafou is an interesting project for ST (and maybe Fra too). Fra via Samoa, NZ and Aus.

22 stone but he's mobile, has a sidestep and soft hand like a SH.

Sharks really should have got something there out of all those chances, particularly as fortuitous with the high call

But Am saves, outstanding move and execution.

Not sure how legal that turnover was, Sharks player knees on the ground for a long time

Somewhat cathartic to see Bosch trying to make that tackle and get opposition riled up

Fantastic timing from Toulouse to knock that out of Mapimpi

Almost feel like that's the game, but scrum seems to have turned around for some reason.

ST bench is weak today: esp the front row.

Didn't think there were any subs on from the first of the latest set of scrums Sharks have had upper hand on.

Didn't feel like should have gone for the points there, particularly with Toulouse on a warning

Both props replaced. Neti and Ainuu on for Baille and Aldegheri.

Really poor play from Chamberlain there with the hack, and over committed maul defence with no forwards managing to come close to dropping out to support. Kok not enough trust in Williams (but may have drawn by failure of forwards to detach from maul)
