You saw the very best of Joe Root in this test. And also the very worst. Brilliant batter who single handedly kept England in it. And then just lost all control of the English attack and tactics this morning. The bowlers lost it and just spent the whole morning trying to bounce/hit/pay back the Indian tail. As a captain he should have recognised that and sorted it out.

Not who you refer to but Shivnarine Chanderpaul has a bloody strange stance and made a success of it
