Libbok can play his natural attacking game with that backline, specifically the back three. I like the loose forward combination.

Looking forward to the Glasgow game tonight. Ulster is a tough place to win but will be great to see how some of the young guys get on after a good preseason and the knowledge that they are going to get games.

As an aside, could I make a plea to our saffa friends. If we are going to use this thread as a URC catch all, could you move all the inane, unfunny, predictable, non stop "banter" between your various clubs? You do exactly the same on 5 or 6 other threads and it makes it unreadable. Please just leave it off this one.

Great to have you on board!

Irish Lions contingent won't come straight back but we often pitch up near to full strength for a game like this, maybe:

Haley, Nash, Farrell, Scannell, Zebo, Carbery, Casey, Coombes, POM, JOD, Wycherley, Kleyn Ryan, Scannell, Killer
Munster: Mike Haley; Andrew Conway, Dan Goggin, Rory Scannell, Simon Zebo; Joey Carbery, Craig Casey; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, John Ryan; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Peter O’Mahony (C), Jack O’Donoghue, Gavin Coombes.

Bah, two wrong. Thought Nash and Farrell would start but might be injury related.

And the man himself RG on the bench! Strong side for us, should be a good one.

Thought Edwill van de Merwe was going to the Lions. He's an under the radar potential Springbok imo. Great to see Salmaan Moerat back, that injury sounded career ending. Aside from Evan Roos, AH Venter and maybe Neethling Fouche the rest are journeymen. I hope Gelant and Libbok prove to be late developers because they showed potential in their early careers but I fear they'll fade into mediocrity sooner rather than later.

Porter has played most of his adult rugby at tighthead but did play loosehead in underage. Healy appears to be on the bench as sub-tighthead.

No fair. We politely nod when you talk with other Sweaties and you do it when it's between Irish or Welsh fans. Extend the same courtesy to them.

Munster: Mike Haley; Andrew Conway, Dan Goggin, Rory Scannell, Simon Zebo; Joey Carbery, Craig Casey; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, John Ryan; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Peter O’Mahony (C), Jack O’Donoghue, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Diarmuid Barron, Jeremy Loughman, Keynan Knox, RG Snyman, Thomas Ahern, Rowan Osborne, Ben Healy, Chris Cloete.
Decent enough team for this stage of the season.
Two second rows on the bench. Looking forward to seeing both of them.
Cloete appears to be outside back cover??? :wtf:
Also a certain Mr Z is back in the red.
Like you glad to see Zebo back....

Looking forward to finally seeing Snyman in action in red...

Fester any word on how Salanoa is coming along...USA needs any bright spots they can get...

Zebo is a funny one. Arguably we don't need him back and our problems are in the forwards, particularly the front row but he was keen to return and took a pay cut in order to do so. Will certainly increase competition in the back three.

Salanoa has done okay on his few appearances to date. Very powerful athlete.
He's got two aging and not brilliant TH's ahead of him so if he can't get ahead of Archer, he's probably not going to be up to much.
