How was Willemse. Did the Stormers win.
Sorry . Still at event
Stomps lost by 10 points, they couldn't win and keep possession in the second half, Willemse good with bad ball and under pressure was just cleaning up a lot of the time.

Congrats to Clermont. This loss will give the Stormers a reminder of hard work. We needed fat Frans and Orrie tonight.
Libbok and Jantjies was poor.

Worried for Northampton. La Rochelle could give them a proper rogering.

Claremont dominated in the second half, Stormers had no answer. Libbok was really poor in particular, but the whole Stormers backline made plenty mistakes.

Bordeaux - Gloucester is a pretty dull affair for the most part.
It's nice to see Tom Willis playing so well, but upsetting to see him in a shirt other than Wasps.
2nd half was fun. Tom Willis didn't deserve to be on the losing side but the Gloucester pack really showed up in the last quarter - looked immense. Ruskin excellent once again. Good BP win after being well behind.
Thought Tom Willis had a cracking match
He was really good - did really well in a pack that was pretty much 2nd best throughout the game, especially in the scrums. I'd rather have him in the England squad than Billy.

His extrication of the ball from retreating scrums was impressive enough, that he then often followed it up with a positive carry off the base was magnificent.

Good maul defence from the Bulls at the end, Lyon had scored from the lineout maul. Bit of the exception to the end of that match, Bulls were poor at closing it out after all the points they stacked up, far too loose.

Dragons aren't exactly world beaters; & Clermont are definitely not mugs, so all in all you guys did okay.
I hope the Bulls supporters enjoyed the thrilling game they saw, & keep turning out in , because they're seeing a game level above URC, or any other league, & which is often more entertaining than Internationals

This, or something similar, was always going to come about as soon as the game went pro.

Pretty much. You have to stitch together enough sizable TV markets, & enough decent teams, producing a watchable product.
I think the Saffers in European Competition, will be a bit like the French; significantly better at home, than away.
Lyon have never won an away game in Europe, & they came damn close tonight, so getting those away bonus points will be critical.
