Ioane is now an injury doubt with Umaga-Jensen called into the squad.

Sam Cane? He seems to get more criticism than even Rieko Ioane... at least from me.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 11:43 pm The Untouchables

I embrace his point. It's true for BB and AS... class players... replace them with someone better... not someone worse...Shanky’s mate wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 7:42 am You guys doing a great job of proving AC’s point here.

Not sure if its the same criteria but Conrad Smith was overrated IMOYmx wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:18 amYep SBW. Was a crusaders player.Wild Beef wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 1:16 amNo crusader players?Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 11:43 pm The Untouchables

Take back what you said about Conrad Smith, LLB at once.
To be fair to AC, he calls players untouchables when he criticises them and everyone doesn't agree 100% with him, or more importantly if there is a Crusader's player that can possibly be shoehorned into same position. As was seen last week when one or 2 posters suggested that perhaps Mounga didn't have a great game.FujiKiwi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:48 am Jesus Christ. Ma'a Nonu? He was constantly vilified on PR with AC being one of the main culprits.
For how good Nonu was, the vitriol heaped on him by boredies like AC and his sidekick, douche chill, was unbelievable.
An untouchable Nonu most certainly was not.
More trolling as usual. Mo'unga clearly didn't have his best game last Sunday. I just disagreed with posters such as yourself who said he should be dropped. Especially given that the player you wanted at 10, Beaudan Barrett, has barely been sighted at 10 this year. He started just two games at 10 for the Blues, and played poorly in both,.Dan54 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:31 pmTo be fair to AC, he calls players untouchables when he criticises them and everyone doesn't agree 100% with him, or more importantly if there is a Crusader's player that can possibly be shoehorned into same position. Ok, well if you can find a post where I said I preferred BB at 10, you must of been smoking, I asked if BB should, but if you look at my posts on what team I would pick I said I would have BB on bench. But hey don't let the truth get in the way !Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:39 pmMore trolling as usual. Mo'unga clearly didn't have his best game last Sunday. please stop using logic and being sensible...Trapper wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:56 pm This Mo’unga v Barrett debate is a waste of energy if the forwards don’t step up and get some go forward. Either one of those blokes could do the job if provided with clean ball. I mean why is it that we argue over who should be playing where in the backs when it’s the friggen guys up front that need to show up and show some starch? That’s the problem, not who’s wearing 10 ffs.
Would prefer Nugget to do an occasional run too, cause a little doubt in Wallabies defence.Trapper wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:56 pm This Mo’unga v Barrett debate is a waste of energy if the forwards don’t step up and get some go forward. And Foster is still at the helm .Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:32 pm So this week the AB's have lost Sam Whitelock to ongoing concussion, and George Bridge and Rieko Ioane to training injuries. That's a terrible week.
I'm confident. On paper I still believe we have a much better team. If I was picking a combined ANZAC team today it would still be dominated by AB players. I just hope that I am wrong about Ian Foster and that he's a much better coach than I think he is. Losing Sam Whitelock is a huge loss though, we've got the weakest starting lock duo for many, many years.Jb1981 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:50 pmAnd Foster is still at the helm .Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:32 pm So this week the AB's have lost Sam Whitelock to ongoing concussion, and George Bridge and Rieko Ioane to training injuries. Injury aside, game two is where a coach can prove their worth. Rennie and Foster have seen game one and how the other side played. Let’s see the motivation and tactics this week. Who is feeling confident?
Over complicated moving pods to try to compensate, but they made it worse . Bad times.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 12:38 am Yes it's a weak locking duo alright.
I'm having haunting visions of the ABs not being able to buy a lineout win, a la the NZ sides of the early naughties.
Fuck that lineout sucked back then.
I thought the Wallabies played the AB line out really well last week closing the gap repeatedly and forcing the throw to compensate. Interesting tactic and one you’d like to think a smart team would counter by appealing to the ref to straighten them out.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 12:38 am Yes it's a weak locking duo alright.

Earlier in his career, definitely very touchable but for the last 4~5 years up to and including RWC2015 he was close to untouchable except for douche.FujiKiwi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:48 am Jesus Christ. Ma'a Nonu? He was constantly vilified on PR with AC being one of the main culprits.
