Berry does look like someone who is always forgetting where he has put something important and then worries what it could be.

Not convinced the French lock got anywhere near the ball for that turnover.

Ref said he knocked it forward from arm to head.

I’d say he was wrong on that.

Still, penalty from scrum is a good result in the end.
The reffing consensus is that if touches hand and then head and goes forward it still considered forward from the hand. If it's forward from head only then not. Weird and counter intuitive but seen as a handling error that results in the ball going forward. Same if it's mis handled and comes off the knee it's not considered kicked forward.

Total lack of composure by LRZ kicking that out on the full.

Bit of a wank consensus in my humble opinion.

He's always been so. His trouble is he has 1 game in a dozen where he melts down and then misses everything. I like my 85% kickers to miss 1 a game and not all of them in a single game.

Comment about Italy: I’ve been saying for years that Scotland play a different Italy from the other 6N teams because Italy turn up thinking they can win, because they have won before. I suspect that confidence is starting to build against some of the other sides as well. They have threatened a big performance all 6N, and must have fancied their chances against a patched-up Scotland side.

He had an age to know the ball was carried back and so he could not kick it out on the full.

Williams is just so slow at the base of each ruck. Would drive me mad if I was Welsh. First noticed it against England but he was very ponderous in those phases.
