Twat

It will come around. Ireland don't have the players to retain the ranking they have and sure as Stevie Ferris complains like fuck about something regarding Ulster, Irish supporters will start complaining about referees when results go agin them

I think you'll find every reasonably minded rugby fan will be aghast at the officiating we have just seen but you carry on being a bit of a tool.

Ok France were the deserved winners. But seeing the consistently excellent Holly running touch earlier today and the consistently awful Carley getting repeated top table gigs is galling.

There were two rucks after the tackle on Kinghorn.
Three rucks after the elbow in touch but since the new TMO Protocol came in in January they can now go back through the entire attacking passage of play for decisions on in touch (and knock ons and forward passes).

Carley is a poor ref, & like we all knew would happen, the 20min RC & the bunker is a total cop out.

The bunker will probably say that the little nudge from Lucu was the difference & Mauvaka wasn't in control, but fundamentally it was off the ball, the ref had already blown his whistle, so if there's foul play he is supposed to use the RC, & not bail to the bunker.
You can’t totally blame Carley for that. It had a full review. It was a clear red card for me and I can’t understand on what basis it wasn’t given. Low danger?! He head butted him after the whistle.
It just shouldn't have gone to the bunker at all. He should have asked if it was after his whistle, which it clearly was, & then as he'd already decided it was foul play his path was clear.
That's it right there.

It was a deliberate act

It was after the whistle.

It was a headbutt

I what universe isn't that a red card. It was a red in 1989.

Correct - one review and I stated that is a nailed on red card. It wasn’t a head clash with mitigation it was a flying headbutt. I will be amazed if the citing commissioners don’t have another look at that. Also I didn’t realise that straight red = no 20 min replacement is going to lead to ref cop out!!(as we are already seeing)

Open the other eye for dogs sake !!

The Laws are getting to the point where it's too damn hard for a single official to deal with 30 players who are working the edges.

Carley wasn't even consistent with his own decisions from 20 mins previous; but at least we saw with a couple of the French clear outs, POMs last week was technically illegal as there was no wrap, but Refs aren't calling it, so it's ipso facto legal !

I think it was klunker in the TMO box, & he was zero use to Carley, & combined with the general Ref bias to which team they think will be dominant, Scotland got the three card trick for Reffing.

It's infuriating but that's what supporting a sports team is mostly; misery !

The GS should be very difficult, it's a huge prize.

That Twickenham was the hurdle this year is fair enough.

Personally I'm still bristling over the loss in the Calcutta Cup, the phrase, "spawny bastards" springs to mind.

Who do posters reckon was the player of the tournament? From the limited amount I watched, I'd probably go for the French try-scoring machine Bielle-Biarrey.

Anyway, that’s the end of another 6N

The best sporting event in the world. Have to say that this wasn’t a classic but the best team won. Well done France.

Personally I had an unexpectedly brilliant weekend at Twickenham, a predictably shit day at Murrayfield against Ireland and an odd day against Wales. I met mates that I hadn’t seen for a while and met new rugby friends I’ll see again.

We have already committed to Rome next year and
I’ll be in Cardiff for our 33 rd year, Inshallah.

Love it

Of course you would

The loss to England was a sore one and in professional sport we have to face the realities, aye the reason we scored tries was down to Finn's passing, but the reason we lost was down to him missing three kicks at goal.
His goal kicking was excellent after that game.

I know you know this, but my historic issues with BK were never about him, but the position. I think we both agree I was correct

😀

Have to say, I bloody love him at the moment, the player I most look forward to watching. I think he will be utterly devastating for the Lions. But Finn.

Whatever in the world gave you that impression?

I'd be happy with playing BK at 10 for the Lions in Australia - no joke, perhaps less so in NZ or SA, but definitely in Oz.

The fact that he's Scotland's best fullback by a mile and that he's very effective for the best club side in the world at 11 and 15, doesn't detract from the fact that he's a great 10. He will never get the time to make it there now, but see the improvement when he plays at a great club? He can do that at 10 as well.

Scotland's forwards fronted up well and the backline was as entertaining as ever. First thoughts are that was the first 80 min performance in a long time.

Carly, you are a fucking joke. As was whoever the TMO was. I've no faith that WR will cite Mauvaka either as that is admission their bunker system doesn't work.
