A little reckless by the Stomps. They should respect the ball a bit.
Junkies is going to get into trouble, he seems to be chirping the ref.

We need to play wide. Jantjies and the stupid driving from lineouts make us struggle.

Roos a little overeager there.
Was dumb going for a pick and drive against 3 opposition players only to get held up.

Is it just me or has Roos become a little quiet over the last few games?

He’s still as “busy” as ever I think, just less and less effective I think. He is a little evereager and gets himself isolated so many times or he loses the ball in contact.
For me, Louw has now overtaken him as the best domestic 8.

Elrigh is better by a large margin. He is the same type of player as Vermeulen

Finally the damn wall breaks.
But our set pieces are a massive concern. Scrums and lineouts were abysmal today.
Glad were able to rack up this score regardless.

I saw his tackle stats somewhere (Louw's) and were a bit surprised at how low they were. He's a beast of a carrier but I haven't seen much of him as a jackaller. Vermeulen is pre-eminent in this facet. I still think Elrigh is a blindside flanker. He's looked great recently but he is playing against URC sides devoid of internationals. Once he faces Dombrandt, Dan du Preez, Jasper etc I'll be more convinced. Great talent though.

3 SA teams in the top half of the log now.
Good to see, but the Stormers and Sharks still have a lot of work to do. Neither look like championship teams as of yet.

Ja, we have no grunt in the engine room at the moment.
Need Moerat back badly. We’ve lost a lot of our best tall timber in quick succession; Etzebeth, Moerat, Meihuizen, Schickerling, Van Zyl…and I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple more. We need some mongrel in the pack again to steady the scrum, and some proper Lineout operators.
If we can’t fix our set pieces in the next 2-3 weeks we are toast.
