Can't help but think that the Saffers have overplayed the attacking kicks. Keeping ball in hand in the opposition half isn't a bad plan.

Nice to see that throw penalised, too often teams get away with it.

And with that spill it's AC's Dane Coles Award to the entire team (and Head-Attack Coach Foster) and I surrender and am off back to bed.

The uncertainty over his position can't be helping. They should give him a four year contract.

I came late to rugby, in the mid 80s when I was a teenager. Ever since, the All Blacks were the team everybody looked up to. Now, they feel like France in 2012-2019.

to be fair, there has not been much to defend, AB's offering zero threat, SA neither but they are ruthlessly efficient at the limited game plan they use.

That was my real time response.

On seeing the replay, he's lucky he injured himself because if he had stood up after that he would have got a pummelling from someone.

Maybe not, but I wasn't impressed with Smith against us, & his quality of pass, just isn't good enough; the receiver often has to check, & take that extra tenth to adjust the ball before they can pass themselves. It all just give the defense time, & increases the handing mistakes
