Wouldn't want them first up in the playoffs

His dad was a work colleague. He played hockey untill grade 10 at Paarl Gim then changed to rugby. Had a good season with Maties and out kicked, out tackle, out attack Bosch tonight.

When it comes to gutless, spineless, soulless performance, nobody can do them quite like the $harks. That was right up there with the Cardiff game, one of the most embarrassing performances I've ever seen from them. I was worried the team change would disrupt things, but we looked kak from the 1st minute. The worst of the worst was Cameron Wright, as usual.

Fair play to WP, they just had to sit back and make a few kicks and tackles before the $harks would fall apart and they scored. We're very luck that didn't turn into a 60 point drubbing.

I don't know. I don't know how I would perform if I was told that we must not win a match. I would be thinking injuries, s well as I would put in very little effort. I don't think this is a fair reflection of the Sharks. I just hope the tactics pay off. I have to say. The Bulls looked superb before they lost Elrigh and would have walked that game with a full team. Playing them in the semis would be a 50 / 50.....good decision to go Pumas rather.

I see the coach has come out saying changing teams was to rest them before the semi-final, as they've had a long run of games.

Which I get. But you expect the URC players to at least step-up and put in a shift. Instead, they completely embarrass themselves and the team.

"We won't play our best team."
"We played our best team to give the others a rest."
"We wanted to lose so we can face a weaker side."

What's next.

"We lost to give the little guy a chance."

I hope for their sake the coaches don't underestimate the reigning CC champs. Or Stonehouse and his coal miners will eat them for lunch.

Ja it's bullshit. Throwing a match is a serious allegation and I think Joey is going to learn a very hard lesson.

He better win the cup now....

Wonder how Plum feels about it....ir whether it came from Plum. Joey is very competitive.
