Costes poor there. Tackle was made and his joining left the unmarked Eng fwd. Not looking good.

Was expecting France to hammer England.

No, good twist to stay in.
England doing the tried and tested 'tackling is somebody elses job' tactic.

There's definitely a touch of Northampton in the way they play.

1/2 backs for Fra overplaying has cost one try and likely to result in more points conceded.
Plus Attisogbe has been a revolving door in defence.

I don't think the half backs are the main problem.

Not sure it's just a bit of push and shove when 2 French ruffians slam one English nice guy into the advert hoardings.

Nope. That has not helped but like I said, these conditions suit Eng. Fra's interpassing game is seriously floundering.

Should get Timo on for Jegou who has been anonymous. Eng done a perfect job in nullifying Tuilagi who really looks more like an 8 against decent oppos than a lock.

Tuilagi should be told to go away and get in shape. You would be better with a real lock.

This is done. I missed the first half but sounded like we gave them a huge scare. Losing the physical battle this half though, which is not really a surprise given the sheer size of these guys, and France are making good decisions with the ball and running some good lines.
Harris has been so frustrating to watch whenever I've seen him play.

the double punishment of the yellow and the penalty try killed the game unfortunately.
