I can't believe I'm going to say this out loud....

I feel sorry for the Irish (dear God I've hit rock bottom).....

Knowing a team like England is going to play in the semis whilst they aren't.

But such is the luck of the draw. If only Ireland lost to South Africa in the pool stages, they could easily have made it to the finals, even winning the competition.

Take a couple of tablets and lie down in a darkened room for an hour. The feeling will pass.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Young Hornblower and Mr Bracegirdle defending themselves against 'The Frogs' (I've been into the books lately, so forgive my use of that term). Suggestions in the thread that it's English v English over words said about Fijians? :?:

Have to say I’m beginning to really like Ben Earl as a player, just what England forwards used to be, no nonsense, uncompromising and tough. Wish he’d cut out the shouting business, but whatever gets you going I guess.
Does he give any thought to being ready for a tap and go? By all means have a wank on the pitch if you want, but please stop ignoring that play might turn live and don't face the touchline or otherwise be looking the wrong sodding way

Yep. all gripping and could have gone either way.

Unfortunately, some just want to be miserable, moan at the ref and generally just eat lemons throughout the matches. Oh well.
I swear, I genuinely wonder if some of these people even like rugby.

Far as I’m concerned, it was a great great weekend of rugby. 4/4 compelling and entertaining matches. God I love this tournament.

It's fun seeing who has no interest in the match thread and just wants to post the fan fights, though they all pale in comparison with Refry's masterstroke of posting it in the England rugby thread
