So the Shark Fans proclaimed best team in SA is the team to break SA's 100% record. They have been unbelievably bad. I guess the Zebre game was an early warning in the end, because they did not look good then either even with that final score line.
Kicking ball away all game long, trying up and unders that have not worked all game because nobody is chasing, the list goes on. They do not seem to have a plan B if Bosch cannot kick accurately.

I won’t deny a certain amount of schadenfreude at the $harks’ misfortune, but it is nice to see that it is still difficult to just buy a championship team full of mercenaries.
It’s only a matter of time until some housecleaning is going to have to be done.

What 100% record? Aren't all the SA sides mid-table or worse?bok_viking wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 4:49 pm So the Shark Fans proclaimed best team in SA is the team to break SA's 100% record. Edit - to a NH team. Had to each other though. To be fair, most of the best teams in the league haven't been over yet, with the exception of Munster who lost two close ones during the six nations. With Ulster and Edinburgh there atm, and Glasgow and Leinster to come, there may be a few more bubbles burst.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

All the Bulls supporters are at the Affies game next door in the shadow of Loftus, at least Affies is winning too. Now that that game is over the can all walk over to Loftus for the 2nd halfOomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 6:00 pm Watching Affies vs Paul Roos . Bulls looking good so far, they have brought a lot more diversity into their game since the first few games of the URC. Playing a lot faster as well. Next week against Ulster might show where they stand. Ulster having a bunch of current internationals vs none.

Yeah Arendse looks very good since they moved him to fullback from wing. Have that extra few meters to try do something and very slippery in small spaces. If he continues like this for the next year, he might have a shot at being a bok as well. Definitely my favourite back player at the Bulls. It is a shame Goosen is made of glass, would have loved him back at 10 with the way the Bulls are playing now.

Yup very surprised by that one.
Next weekend is going to be quite interesting on the highveld. If the Bulls can pull of a win next weekend I will be confident we can make the knockouts. The Lions game will be very interesting as I think both teams will be running most of the ball, so if they young lions can defend like demons they might stand a chance. I will be at the Bulls game so looking forward to that.

Who'd be a coach, eh ?
How many times do you think they discussed discipline during the week, & how important this game is, & then one of your players has a complete brain fade right at the start of the game.
They're doing good so far, but they'll get cut to ribbons in the last twenty
Just seen that red… was pretty awfulfishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:21 pmWho'd be a coach, eh ?

The Inter-Pros are always ferocious, but with the changes to the Laws, you just can't set out to smash the other player anymore.
Thing was, he had him perfectly lined up for a rib tickler but had a rush of blood I guessfishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:41 pmYeah, stone cold RedSlick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:34 pmJust seen that red… was pretty awfulfishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:21 pm

Its a coaching issue and our 9/10 are locks are weak. But I don't get your butt hurt about the recruiting. How are South African teams supposed to compete in the URC without pulling out a chequebook. Transvaal and Louis Luyt were doing it before anyone except he was a crook. The broederbond ruled Northern Transvaal for years and went shamateur before anyone. As for WP and EP they've been an embarrassment to South African rugby. WP has only recently got its act together. The Sharks and KZN rugby are on the right track I think.

Some of the cards today was doubtful. I feel sorry for a lock to try and get below the shoulders of a ducking 9 and then the diving also don't help.Slick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:44 pmThing was, he had him perfectly lined up for a rib tickler but had a rush of blood I guessfishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:41 pmYeah, stone cold Red

Leinster are some team. When they play away they have guys with dozens of caps looking to challenge the first choice selections who are left at home, pushing pushing all the time.
They have a ridiculous depth - I happened to look at their squad a couple of weeks ago and including academy kids who have played for them they have 39 forwards, including 13 backrow players, but every one of them who is not a front line international knows they will get their chance and they take it. They play to the game plan and stake their claim.
Some team indeed.

On the other hand, how that Sharks player didn’t get a red for the tackle in the air is a mysteryOomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 9:22 pmSome of the cards today was doubtful.
