Changes ahead!
Plans to overhaul the format of the Heineken Champions Cup – including a return to pool-stage qualification – will be rubber-stamped by the tournament's board of directors ahead of Saturday’s final between Leinster and La Rochelle in Dublin, Telegraph Sport can reveal.
The move comes following widespread criticism from players, coaches and supporters that the current format involving two 12-team conferences was too complicated and the lack of clarity in the narrative was undermining the status and credibility of the competition.
Should imagine the Premiership will have to to lose at least a couple of qualifying places in the future bearing in mind it will be 10 team league compared to the T14 and URC!
Discussions are continuing about how to make further tweaks to the format, with a proposal to reduce the number of clubs in the Championship Cup to 18 for the start of the 2024-25 season currently under strong consideration.

4 does not go into 18. 3 groups of 6 with just home OR away format?

Good Lord, can the cunts in charge please

5 groups of 4, 50% qualify - 5 from Eng, 7 from Franc, 8 from URC.

Personally I would prefer 24 teams, but I could live with that.

Problem is that they gave up a European weekend to the French. Means that there's only 8 weekends so pools of 4 doesn’t work.

They've made a complete mess of it.

One way is BT Sport, which I have.

I believe if one goes to a site that rhymes with VIP Box one will find streams there. Vivaldi is a good browser as it blocks popups and doesn't do the crypto shite that Brave does.

Think it was probably grounded, just. But I'd question how long you have to ground.

He did get there eventually but it must have been a good few seconds after he was initially held up.

Hmmm, not convinced by that passage of play not having multiple knock-ons.

Glasgow line out competing really well I think

Did the original crash to ground not ground it on the line? And then it was held up after that

Glasgow not in it at all.

Think this could be an embarrassing scoreline if they can't get going.

19-0 with conversion to come.

First try - grubber through by nine in midfield competing against front row with the sweeper on other side of the field, not great splitting by Glasgow defense.

Second try, Glasgow fumbled line-out at the tail (no compete) 10 metres out (Brown overthrow, what is new) and Toulon score 2 phases later. Their last man in the line-out was well past the Glasgow line.

24 minutes, Brown another over throw 40 metres. Toulon go up field, tackled before line and scrum half sneaks over

0-19 to be 21

there were hands under the ball for the initial grounding.

However, that last try was the usual shite throw from Brown, that's probably the game already

Some poor play around the rucks, players knocking our own off their feet unnecessarily and narrowing numbers.

Brown with a knock-on 10 metres out...

So so so poor inside the 22. Really great getting there.

Need to switch it up and really keep it with the backrow and cummings in 22, front row stay the fuck away. Brown off.
