Damn it. Ireland were going well; & now they've lost a few wickets; & lost their rhythm. Now the RR is 8.8 with 10 overs to go :(

Ireland lose by 24 runs
Bowling got just a little loose & after bowling superbly initially; they coughed up too many boundaries.
Still; a decent performance against a tier 1 side.

^^^ I happened to catch Sri Lanka's first ever test match, in Colombo v. England earlyish 1982.
The locals did OK for a day and a bit but then ....
