96 yrs old, so he had a good innings. Nothing medically wrong. Old age and a broken heart..
Sorry to hear that. I think being there does help though.

It's a void you will never fill but focus on all the good times you had together and try and follow in his footsteps, he obviously did a good job!

100m in 10.05 and still at school. And he had slowed down a lot

He's only 16 FFS

This guy is going to get seriously quick.

He ran the final leg of the 4 x 100m relay in 9.533 easing up and coasting

just jaw dropping to watch.

Clearly an elite talent, but assume those would just be expected splits for someone running almost ten flat accounting for easing off.

Think the top guys tend to be well under 9 seconds.

The WR for the 100m is 9.58

The best relay legs are under 9 seconds as the runners have a flying start. A leg of 9.5s for a 10.04 runner is actually slow. A 10.04 man should be around 9.0 to 9.1.

I'm waking up slowly, I just realised you meant individual legs in the relay. My bad, sorry.

I still think the kid is outstanding, he's 16 years old and hasn't been in a serious development program yet.

US colleges will be lining up to throw scholarships at him. And money, given the changes allowing name, image and likeness money to be paid.

I've just seen a clip from a Kevin Bridges video where he says you are young for as long as people laugh when you fall over.

I recently, well about a year ago, slipped on wet brown leaves on the pavement and landed heavily on my knee. It hurt like fuck, but not as much as the arrival of two students who came to see if I was okay.

Bridges says a more appropriate response would be to laugh like fuck and make a wanker sign at the person who falls, like he had just had happen to him.

It will keep us young.

It's a small error. Could happen to anyone. Just switch Bongi and Jordan to fix it.
