Why?
The father's look of "ag fok" as he watches his team lose and knows he has to deal with a crying daughter
I have a daughter almost the same age. Not fun if they start crying.

Good question.
No one wants kids to be upset but it happens, it is quite an amusing/interesting photo for all the emotions that are on show. Lets not become such a nation of pant wetters that we have to stop laughing at others misfortunes...

To be fair she was probably just sick of the band and 40,000 English fans hurling abuse at anyone who had a German top on. Dad - they’re all so angry and I’m frightened. Etc etc.
Hmm, it could be ... she could also be thinking:
Tochter: "Daddy, half our squad are on big money at big clubs in the tops leagues and the other half play for the best teams in the Bundesliga, with that other half having shone there before moving. Does this mean the Bundesliga is really a scheisse league???"
Vater: "... mein Liebchen ... ja, zis is true."

Another nonsense red card to screw the competition. No surprise it's the English ref.
Such a frustrating sport.
And no, laughing at a picture of a young supporter in a stadium crying isn't funny, whoever you support or whatever sad excuse you come up with. Give yourself an uppercut if you did.

And this is taking too long - still need to walk the dog before the next match.

Piss off, Belgium are a bunch of thugs masquerading as a football team. Long ball to Lukaku was all they had. Plus their fans were utter cunts for throwing water bottles at a player as he got stretchered off the pitch. I'm glad they got dumped out of the euros and I'm even happier that it was us that did it.

And let’s be honest, they got the hump with the guy being stretchered off because he walked off the pitch still standing, signalled he was injured, then walked back onto the pitch and collapsed.
Well done on the win, and I wanted them to win, but don’t defend this nonsense

My favourite moment was when Immobile went down in the box like he'd been shot and lay prostrate and, well, immobile, so severely injured did he appear to be, until he realised one of his team mates had scored, at which point he leapt up and ran to celebrate with the rest of the team.

Lots of domestic titles and European success, and a world cup final. It is their golden generation - I.e theirs, not everyone's.

Woo! Strong start for England and that's the sharpest Kane has looked all tournament. Sterling had six defenders near him and still found the killer pass.

These commentators are going to have to pace themselves. It’s only ten minutes into the game and they’ll be red raw by half time.

Most players would have gone down there but he kept up and made that pass. A lesson there

Weird listening to the pundits drone on about how good Kane's finish was. Uh, he hit it almost directly at the keeper and it deflected off the chest and in...
Kane has looked a little livelier but not enough still. Mount's work has been largely in defensive situations, otherwise that central area has been largely bypassed.

Yeah. His movement is a problem still. Would like to see Mount on the edge of the D more often
