Just tuning in. What is wrong with the NZers hairs? Are we back to 2003, when the mullet was back from the 80s for the first time?

If they hadn’t scored there a yellow card was due.

Not a convincing win for the AB's, the Wallabies really owned the last 20 mins, if they had a kicker, they may well have won that game.

Crap defence at the end there when foot was taken off throat.

Pretty scrappy and shit from the All Blacks. Woeful last 15min. Woeful barely describes it, have to give the wobs props for forcing it though and should have been a lot tighter with a decent goal kicker.

Coincided with Foster dragging Snecky and RMo off and bringing on JB and BB. And PT giving no ooomph off the bench, though that is pretty much expected nowadays. I reckon he has had it and we should have Vaa'i or PPP in the squad.

All black try at the start of the 2nd half had two forward passes and an obstruction. Even as an AB supporter I was calling it. Poor from the officials.

I know. No one replies when I post live so it makes no difference to me if I do it three hours later. Plus it’s a way to vent.

No commentary on the second half?
All Blacks running the ball from inside their 22... imagine if Gatland became NZ coach... he'd soon coach that out of them... new haircuts and box kicks...

Gatland somehow managed to coach the Chiefs to a winless season last year, and he'll back there next year. Not really expecting much improvement from him second time round, tbh. I think his chance of ever coaching the ABs has long gone.

I missed this last night.
Aaron Smith was genuinely delightful post match as he talked about his childhood friendship with Samuel Whitelock carrying on to see them become test centurions. Whitelock had told us the story of the day they'd first met, when Smith asked him on the first day of school if he was attending Feilding High School, to which Whitelock observed their identical school uniforms and gruffly replied "well of course I am".

You would hope so. I dread the thought of what he would do to them. Might make them hard to beat.. but bloody hell I bet they won't be good to watch.
Now.. will Foster surprise is and pick the same starting 15 two matches in a row?

After spending a few days wondering if I could ever bring myself to watch international rugby again in the aftermath of the total clusterfuck that was the Lions series in SA, I finally managed to get round to watching Bled 1 last night.
It wasn't great, a lot of mistakes and some poor skills on show at times, but in terms of entertainment it was light years ahead of the crap dished up in Cape Town. Hopefully as the season goes on and the rust is polished off things will improve, I'm actually looking forward to next Saturday now.

What has Robinson signed up for now?
The Altrad contract strings
Mohed Altrad's construction logisitcs firm bearing the same name, recently beat Amazon to secure a sponsorship deal with rugby's most famous team, in a move that could be worth around £60m over the next six years.
And the company's owner, who's also the power behind Montpellier Herault Rugby has now revealed that the move will also carry a number of other conditions.
As part of the deal, New Zealand will play four games in Montpellier between 2022 and 2026, while there will also be a number of coaching partnerships between the two parties.
“In the contract, a partnership between the MHR and the All Blacks is also planned: exchanges of skills will take place in particular at the level of coaches, training and, in addition, four matches of the All Blacks will be played in Montpellier between 2022 and 2026,” Altrad told French rugby website rugbyrama .
“It will then be necessary to find a credible and international opposition. We will not make them face the MHR, in plain language. Four games over the term of the contract: All Blacks, All Blacks B, Maori and Black Ferns, New Zealand women’s team.”
The deal will also offer a gateway for Kiwi stars looking to ply their trade in France.
“This is provided for in the contractual clauses. They [New Zealand Rugby] will do their utmost to facilitate contacts between the All Blacks who are no longer selected and our club.
“Please note, the players are obviously free to choose, and we are talking about All Blacks who no longer play in the national team. But we will have an easier approach, indeed.”

Josh Ioane's been released from the last year of his Highlander's contract and signed with the Chiefs for the 2022 Supe season. Good move by the Chiefs imho. Ioane's career has stalled down south and DMac will be in Japan next year, and tbh I don't rate Gatland Jr as much more than a "solid" option at 10. Hope Ioane makes the most of this opportunity.

Happy about that - not sure how Gats is going to play it next year but would rather his son wasn't the one going permanently into #10
