Really surprising game for me
a) Not expecting Sale to play any high tempo stuff with width.
b) Never seen Ulster this ineffective.

Very impressive from Sale - Totally dominant in every aspect of the game. That last try was a beauty. Ulster had no answers once they were being outmuscled up front.
It'll get tougher for them next week away to Toulouse - but that was a cracking win.

Close to a perfect performance. A few white line fever moments and some wayward conversions, but that was it. Such a hiding, not sure it would have been greater if Ulster had been down to 14.

Disappointing from Ulster. Robert du Preez played really well.

I do enjoy the fear in the eyes and voices of the presenters and commentators as they try to pretend they have ever actually watched one of the Scottish sides play

Sale looked strong. Was the Stockdale in the back 3 for Ulster any relation to that winger the Nordies were talking up as world class a few years back? Maybe his uncle?

Ulster
I mean you have to laugh at your own team when they are as bad as that. The scoreline flattered us in the end.
Dan McFarland has certainly improved Ulster during his time compared to where we where under Kiss and Gibbes, but that is two shambolic performances in a row. And we still haven't developed a winning mentality, continually shitting the bed when it matters.
I think he has taken us as far as he can.

"Toulouse flopping over the top". Yup, because again an Irish side going to floor beyond the ruck and obstructing any counter ruck.

Mist is getting really bad in Thomond. Can't see the ball on screen when it goes to the air.

He called no hands on George. Who let go and drove over to win the ruck. Someone else then legally picked it up.

Here we go
One horribly sliced kick followed by an aimless one straight to Munster. He is hopeless off the foot and as a tactical FH. Unless he's going to run it, his value is zero.

George tried to pick it up and dropped it back after he had shouted, then they drove over

Sarries v Edinburgh is a very enjoyable game.
Think Vellacot must have been told he is only on for 40 minutes as he hasn’t stopped moving and giving really quick ball from rucks

Been playing great, kicked a penalty to go 6 up with a couple of mins to half time. From the Sarries kick off, an idiotic block, then throw the ball away so penalised another 10m. Sarries kick to the corner and score from the line out

Some pretty dumb play from Sarries in that half. They'll need to sort it out for the 2nd half and stop giving away stupid penalties.

I just don't get Scottish ill discipline. We see it year after year (esp at intl level). It's like it's institutionalised stupidity.

Difficult to see the players on some of the wide shots, ball's got no chance.
