Only been watching for a dozen or so minutes but for mine both teams look very impressive.
The intercept try and the penalties crippling Wales.

Anyone who thought Pivac was the problem needed their head examined. Wales just don't have the players right now.

The score is a fair reflection of the two teams in that half

How the hell is Francis still playing international rugby? He must hve packed on another 2 stone of fat since he left Exeter.
A-WJ finally looks fit for the knackers yard as well.

He's been ready for a couple of seasons already imo.

Both teams seem intent to play positive attacking rugby and there was quality in the passages of each.
Good enough for me to enjoy this game.

2 dumb penalties by Porter in as many minutes.

If he had an English granny we’d have him.

And the reason for it is pretty rare too. Generally it seems refs are happy with an anything goes approach to attempts to tackle or stop a try scorer in goal.

That wasn't a penalty
Being generous then, just the 2 pens that led to the try then?

Can we penalise both? Williams may have been clipped a touch late, but he's been pretty dramatic about it.

The way Williams reacted to that I thought he'd been knocked out for a second. Very surprised to see it was actually a glancing blow from a player pulling his arm out of the way.

Casey has just crawled forward in the counter ruck and got away with something Wales were penalised for twice.

Perhaps Dickson just got fed up with being screamed at by Welshies at every breakdown and decided to let Ireland get away with a little something something.

Up on their line just now one of the Welsh was screaming "HOLDING!" before a Welsh player was even in the ruck. :shh:

It's brutal from both sides to be honest. Both always the worst at it.

Ireland looked fantastic for 30 minutes, but there is a bit of hope for the other sides in that Wales managed to get back into he game, if not on the score board

The old men of Wales were so poor that Gatland must be harbouring thoughts of relegating them to the dirt trackers for the next Lions tour
