I need one more score from Italy here
Looks like he was dragged out of the pub to play after 10 pints and a large English.

Really enjoyed Italy vs Namibia. Watching the god awful shite produced by England and boring but effective Tigers (of all the titles i can remember Tigers winning probably the dullest over the season) has made me forget watching rugby should sometimes be entertaining and enjoyable.

Basically need Romania to keep within 62, and Scotland to keep close or win and I'll be 200/400 the merrier. The rest are bankers. Knew I should have put a higher spread on France
Accumulator (x1)
France (-1.0)
Handicap Betting - France v New Zealand
Italy (-32.0)
Handicap Betting - Italy v Namibia
Romania (+62.0)
Handicap Betting - Ireland v Romania
Georgia (+20.0)
Handicap Betting - Australia v Georgia
Argentina (-1.0)
Handicap Betting - England v Argentina
Japan (-25.0)
Handicap Betting - Japan v Chile
Scotland
Match Betting - South Africa v Scotland
Stake £0.87
Potential Returns £210.60
Otherwise Scotland within 10 gives me £184

She pronounces De Klerk as De Clarke, then decided to add an Afrikaans g sound to the end because maybe she suspected she was getting it wrong, so throw the g in, De Clarke-g._Os_ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 12:09 pm Italy are struggling with Nam's outside in rush defence and the pressure Nam backrows are putting on the breakdown. Italy were totally closed out of that second quarter. Nam have a backline that can score Rossouw/Deysel/Greyling/Swanepoel have all played a lot of provincial rugby in SA, should've got a bit more out of that half, they looked a bit nervous when they were shifting the ball. AC has them playing Stomp rugby, pressure on defence/quality backrows/spread ball wide.
Someone needs to tell the female commentator how to pronounce Afrikaans names. Sounds like she's trying to put an Afrikaans "g" sound into Van Jaarsveld, and is getting Rossouw totally wrong which she has given a oo sound like in zoo. Not knowing how to pronounce names and making it up, is an Aussie level approach to commentary.
Thought Nam had 30-40 decent minutes in there, probably should've scored a bit more (even just from pens at goal). Totally fell apart in the final 4 minutes, which blew the margin for me (I thought they would lose by 30-ish). Beating Uruguay looks doable.
Italy definitely adapted in the second half and got around Nam's defence, rather than running straight into it like in the first half, sign of a good team.
Gianluca Guidi made the good point that things started to open up when we moved Allan to 10, Garbisi to 12 and Capuozzo 15._Os_ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 1:12 pmShe pronounces De Klerk as De Clarke, then decided to add an Afrikaans g sound to the end because maybe she suspected she was getting it wrong, so throw the g in, De Clarke-g._Os_ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 12:09 pm Italy are struggling with Nam's outside in rush defence and the pressure Nam backrows are putting on the breakdown. That accumulator would've been much better without the Scotland outright a few more pounds on it.

I think we can safely file these choirs under "a brave experiment".
There is a chance Italy gets out of the group if they get everything right, your team has definitely improved. France are a known quantity for Italy. But how would you rate your chances against the ABs now?

I think we're just timing our build up a little differently, due to the early games, & Sexton being banned etc
