Looks like the same is well underway with the Johnson government as well if the stuff I am reading is correct. Massive cronyism.

There seem to be some problems coming with simply having enough poll workers for the upcoming general election. The federal government is doing a lot to suppress votes, most obviously with their work on postal votes and the corruption of the postal services, and that's going to force a lot of people out to their local polling station but those stations mayn't have the workers needed. Typically polling station workers are retired folks volunteering, but in an age of a pandemic that puts older folk at more risk many of those will not be coming out. Other people can register their interest to volunteer at a poling station to ensure as many people as possible get to cast their vote, but there are going be problems here recruiting volunteers and where those volunteers are directed that certainly has the potential to suppress votes in certain communities

Nobody knows what to do about the hackable voting machines that the GOP have insisted on ignoring as a problem post 2016

The heads I want on spikes are Ivanka, Kushner and Don Jr. Let’s face it, Trump is an old man and any punishment for him will be minor. What would hurt him more is those three spending time in jail.
What makes you think Trump would care if his minions got carted off to jail, as long as he stayed free? He wouldn't give two shits for them.

What would hurt him more would be the huge TV ratings generated by him being marched out of the WH with a set of bracelets. He deserves jailtime for his past misdeeds alone, let alone his corrupt behaviour since assuming office. The flunkeys who have enabled him like Barr need to be marched off as well. Spending the rest of his life behind bars would be fitting.

He doesn't care about anyone else. Lock Donny up and take away his Twitter & golf privileges.
That would hurt more than anything you did to his family.

There's one thing that Trump is an expert on, it's getting away from stuff. He came out of 6 bankriptcies intact. I reckon he'd have dirt on so many people that no one will want to pursue in the courts. He may even have a couple of judges in his pocket too.

Aww, c’mon man, I’m not taking that uh uh cogignition test. I ain’t taking my corpse out of the basement. I don’t need to prove my fiscal uh phys’cal capa uh capaliabilities or my mental uh aww c’mon man, you know the thing. And that orange Nazi fella Jared Trump ain’t pulling me out for debates, either.
Some say I’m touched with Bidentia, but everyone has that by their 30s and uh anyone who says I aint sharp is a lying dog-faced pony soldier. No malarkey. But I like you, Kiwias, son. You got plantation boy written all over you. You’re a kneeler. You’re ‘useful’. And you might be a honky but you’re more black inside than any of those Blexit Uncle Toms. It’s Joe 2 Oh 2 uh it’s … it’s Joke Biden 2-7-2-0 uh 123 testing uh that caramel pudding they knocked me out with last night was so yummy I licked up the bit that I dribbled down onto my fungal toenails.

Its nice to see the new trend of Journalists actually calling the odious piece of shit on his continual lies; this last time, on him taking credit for a piece of legislation that Obama forced thru.

It seems the penny has finally dropped for many of the journalists on the WH beat; that because the GOP now needs them, to spread their message ahead of the Elections; they no longer have to fear being blackballed if they ask awkward questions; & the worst he can do is walk off stage; & show what a petulant douche bag he is.

So you all wanna know who will be my running thingymejig.
The snide talk is I’ll pick the one with the most worn-out knees, snicker snicker, and we all know that’s Kamala, Heels-Up Harris, hee hee … all the ‘Willie Brown’ jokes will change to ‘Willie White’ hyuk hyuk splutter splutter dribble snort … but truth be Kiwias, you got as much say over who will be the real pres … uh, who will be Vice … as I do … and you all find out who it is at exactly the same time I do, when I read it off the teleprompter. They gonna shoot me up just prior to make sure I’ll be sharp enough to pronounce it right. Bad look otherwise.
Oh and Kiwias you got any advice for me about this mail-in voting. Do I post all 8 of my votes in at the same time or will it be better and less suspicious if I space them out a bit?

Well, doggone, c’mon man, I finally got something right, tho without knowing it.
It’s Heels-Up after all.
Problem is even our own Dem voters rejected her in the primaries almost from the start. And her response was to call them racist and misogynist bigots because she was a black woman … and that was our own Dem voters she was reviling.
And, uh, there’s that photo of Heels-Up and Jussie Smollet standing side by side. You folks all remember Jussie? We hope like hell you don’t. We hope you don’t recall that he was the ‘’bashed Chicago victim” of two whites wearing MAGA hats, the two whites who were actually Jussie’s black associates and who he paid to stage the ‘attack’.
Whew, it was only yesterday that the black Chicago AG pardoned all those in that city facing charges, and that included our Jussie. Whew. That was real close. Almost like it was co-ordinated to the minute.
Imagine if our Juss had gone on trial and the clips of Heels-Up endorsing the accusations he made got shown and the pix of Juss and Heels-up side by side got displayed. Whew, whew, whew!

I see Trump's understanding of history is as tenuous as his grasp on reality.

So, the Democrat presidential nomination is an entitled White-Privileged old man, and his running mate is descended from a Jamaican slave owner.

Everyone's got this wrong. Trump is not suffering Alzheimers. He still has all his mental facilities.

He is just trolling.

He is trolling, (checks notes),

He is trolling war mongering libtard 2nd world war soldiers, who for the last 75 years imposed a leftwing philosophy throughout the developed world.

That's an awful pair in Biden and Harris. From an almost unbeatable position, the Democrats have trimmed in Trumps way outside chance to a lot closer than it should have been.

If Trump can hold himself together, have a couple bits of good news fall in his lap over the next month or so he could bring it all back.

There's simply nothing good in the USA's future with what's on offer. it's the same choice as last time for them. Choose the devil you know or the devil you don't.
They're in real trouble either way.

What do you think Biden and Harris will do that will be worse than what has gone on in the last 3 years specifically?
