I've only posted what's been reported, you're the one who makes predictions. You keep attributing what that to me directly, it's worryingly obsessive. To be clear, I'm not Chris Whitty.Bimbowomxn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:56 pmYep, , I’ve checked all your posts here though and your cases get no where near.Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:52 pm Some guy on some press conference currently on the BBC just said cases 50,000 a day and rising based on.... Well he was either right or the numbers being produced by the NHS and PHE are bollocks.
He also would need to adjust the predicted IFR substantially.

No, you went with the 50,000 a day until challenged , then like the issue of false positives you ran away.

Don't forget the ONS, you like ONS numbers, Yes? Or only when they suite your agenda?

I reported that Whitty said it could get to 50,000 "if we did nothing" by mid Oct. Once again, I'M NOT CHRIS WHITTY!Bimbowomxn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:03 pm No, you went with the 50,000 a day until challenged , then like the issue of false positives you ran away.
You predicted it wouldn't get to that (you were so certain, you wanted a flounce bet) by the end of this month and that's now been reported as much higher by Imperial College and now ONS provided numbers stated just now
But now you're having to run back to 'false positives' as your fall back argument because I put you on ignore after your farcical "rebuttal"

You were totally wrong on false positives like the opposite of right . You didn’t understand it. And when you realised you ran away.
Oh, and all you had to say about 50,000 is “I don’t believe what I’ve reported”. You didn’t again you ran away.
There’s a pattern.

It's quite normal to reporting newsworthy Government Scientists press conference statements without having to provide a personal comment. It's however very worrying when you keep attributing these reports as my personal predictions, quite revealing.
PS. All reported cases includes the false positives in the count.

Yeah, you posted it, and ran away when asked to defend the post.

They are on this. The scientific consensus is for a lockdown. The bigger issue is the handling of what isn’t really a “wave” more a time of the year for respiratory illnesses of which Covid was going to be prevalent.
Why are the nightingales closed. And why aren’t they the go to for covid so as to keep it out of general hospitals. ?
Why isn’t the government and NHS immediately implementing the “plan” for this emergency situation.?
The virus is now not new, or its existence a surprise. Why is Lockdown the chosen method once again even post knowing the cost of that action.
I have a theory. Lockdowns are political cowardice of the highest order, and this isn’t just Johnson , the same is being implemented across Europe.
But what lockdowns avoid is the actual adult conversation of what is preferable and the honest conversation of the costs as well as the benefits.
They also clearly don’t actually work.

Oh, and PS. Those that remain in secure jobs on full pay have no view regarding lockdowns that shouldn’t be discounted by that security, it’s a big difference between losing your life’s work and missing a latte.
There is NO WAY you had time to type that all yourself! Who did you steal it from?Bimbowomxn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:45 pm The bigger issue is the handling of what isn’t really a “wave” more a time of the year for respiratory illnesses of which Covid was going to be prevalent.

Like those who have a Porsche parked their garage shouldn't have opinions about starving kids?Bimbowomxn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:47 pm Oh, and PS. I support helping “starving” children. Unlike you I don’t have anything in the past to worry about.
Bet your job isn’t in any danger.

There’s been absolutely no parliamentary discussion costing the potential deaths vs the economic costs no. Every one who mentions the economy gets shouted down .
There should be actual parliamentary scrutiny for spending 400 billion pounds.
I’m taking 30% off your views here due to lack of it affecting you.
Nothing at all to do with any typo.
So stfu, have have posted the reason go look for it.

Sage (note one group not consensus) have more behaviour scientists than biologists, they should have predicted the lack of social distancing and in fact the failure of track and trace.
They’re idiots.
But worse they had no contingency for their mistakes.

Agree with Bimbo to be fair that politicians are locking down because they're scared.
But being scared by an ever rising daily death figure is good reason to be scared?
Should've been short sharp lockdowns like in Wales.
