Netherlands had a really good comeback from the horror start but are in a wee bind now at 119/6. Excellent bowling by the spinners in particular. They are still ahead of the BCs at the same point in the innings though we had Latham set and batting well.
There isn't a Bracewell who cannot bowl.
Another of the dynasty arrives
Used to be my neighbors when I was a kid - John, Kevin, Jan all top class and Doug was a CD player.
Brendon was just a wee baby when they left Taupo

5 down. Williams great catch from Mulder
Lizaard Williams' first wicket in International Test Cricket is the night watchman for one.
101 for five.
Very brave leave for Litton Das as that one bounces fractionally over off stump. Williams bowling well here.
Elgar puts down Litton Das at slip to deny Williams another wicket. Bad drop, regulation catch.
Back to spin. Maharaj back, and Harmer is greeted with a smash down the ground for four by Joy to bring up his fifty.

Not Elgar day.
Interesting that they are treating Maharaj with respect, but are trying to smash Harmer out of the attack.
A four and a six off that Harmer over.
Now they are going after Maharaj.
Elgar needs to hold his nerve: the more aggressive the Bangladeshis are, the more they will offer chances.
Drinks, 143 for five.

Fucking useless DSTV soccer loving cunts changed the channel, so I missed it.
I definitely saw a bail fall when the 'catch' was taken. Did anyone else see it? Presumably, Verreynne was the culprit and Das didn't tread on his wicket, seeing as he's still there.

If anyone is interested (and I can fully understand if they are not) Bangladesh is 257-7 at tea, 110 behind in this tedious encounter.
Harmer and Maharaj are bowling accurately, but without turn. Mehedi and Joy are batting cautiously, without taking any risk and look as though they could bat all week.
Williams breifly looked threatening, but deteriorated into serving up pies, short outside off or full on the pads. Olivier has offered no threat and Mulder has not bowled a ball.
We have dropped a number of catches and fluffed a few run outs.

finally! reviewed, just the faintest of touches on the glove. at first look it didn't look like he'd got anywhere near it.

Erwee departs, lbw.
I really don't know why batsmen respond when the bowler starts abusing him; hopefully this experience will mean that he will be less likely to surrender his wicket so easily in the future.
48 for one, lead of 117.
Ebadot now trying it with Petersen.
Petersen drives him through cover to open his account next ball with a four.
