Pity Gillian Welch hasn't done a new album in over 10 years. Some covers are appreciated though - she's one of the greatest musicians of any genre over the last century.

Perth... well, Fremantle local Lucy Peach. One of the more gorgeous voices going around.

If you don't know Canadian artist K-Os, really worth a look ... skillfully blends and jumps styles, so while he does a lot of rapping, the music can be rock, reggae, more hip hop, R&B, whatever. He's been off for many years, but just released this funk-/disco-ish tune.
While "Crabbuckit" was the biggest hit, and is way-over played given what he's done ... I'd highly recommend The Man I Used to Be, Born to Run, and Sunday Morning if you want a better sense of his talent.

If you like Country...
She's gay, she's an ex-con, she did time for stealing from her smack dealer, she is magnificent.

It's been a while ... and this a jam worth sharing. 2020 track, vibing early 90s R&B.

He probably gets lumped into the 'hip hop' genre because his earlier stuff is more that, but K-Os is an artist whose body of work is broader (lots of real instruments and singing instead of rapping, or mixing both). Anyhoo, this is a great cover where he does a bit of both but, I think, stays faithful to the original!

I feel like there's some 80s in this, but also mid 00s? A toe tapper, for sure...

Just heard this on a classical station. Great little tune that'd go well in an adventure movie ... but didn't expect it to have a video, and kind of a funny one at that.

Will we ever see the likes of this total anjoyment of a concert crowd again and a proper band like AC/DC in full flow?
