Pretty chilly and bloody miserable again
Glad I'n nowhere near here though
Canada has recorded its highest ever temperature as the country's west and the US Pacific north-west frazzle in an unprecedented heatwave.
Lytton in British Columbia soared to 46.6C (116F) on Sunday, breaking an 84-year-old record, officials said.
A "heat dome" of high pressure parked over the region has set new records in many other areas.
The US and Canada have both warned citizens of "dangerous" heat levels that could persist this week.

Completely insane, 49.5C recorded yesterday at Lytton
This is as far north as the southern coastline of Cornwall! Barely warmer than 21C here for the last two weeks...and maybe only 15C today...

Cape Town is having a real rainy cold week. Tens of thousands of people live in corrugated iron shacks on floodplains. Those poor bastards!
We had gusting winds of close to 60 knots in some places last night. Now is a very good time to be be making a donation to a reputable charity.

Remember them well, just from the trip to Constantia from the airport.
But we went to Soweto. Still have the car made from a Fanta can.
Never got used to all the barbed wire. Plus the word "ROBOT" on the tarmac!

Maybe off to Auld Reekie by train then onwards. Following a Michael Portillo track. But will wait till we can go without wearing masks!
