Saints have got this horribly wrong. Racing have lost 4 of their last 5 games because their pack is powder puff and been beaten up.
But that backline is the best in the comp and the pack is mobile so trying running rugby against them is suicide.

I don't think it's guts. Russell can only play that way and so it's not elective. Fun to watch tonight.

What part of "carried back" is Mitchell struggling to understand?

How on earth is Furbank an international for England? He's awful.

Going to so sound churlish because he has been brilliant tonight but that was bad by Russell. Adv and a free play to do what he does best: instead he does a bad kick to throw away the adv and immediately put his side back under pressure,

It's only England
Yep, it sounds like you're desperate as ever to find something wrong with what Russell does. That's not going to surprise anyone.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:27 pm Going to so sound churlish because he has been brilliant tonight but that was bad by Russell. And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

I've kept my mouth shut on Adamson so far, but that try being chalked off is farcical.

No it's not. Same principle as Imhoff being pinged for a pen for being in front which brought Saints back down here. Imhoff absolutely was nowhere near anyone and had no impact on play but the law is the f**king law.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:38 pm I've kept my mouth shut on Adamson so far, but that try being chalked off is farcical.

I popped off to grab dinner, so I think I missed that one.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:40 pmNo it's not. In this case, it was Machenaud's angle of running that denied any possibility of making a tackle, he was travelling in completely the wrong direction. If he'd been running to make a tackle on the ball carrier, he wouldn't have ended up colliding with Sleightholme.

Gets easier for Saints. Chat on
If you late hit Russell and take him out of the match do Racing do so well?
Going back to the late hit on Biggar. It is an intentional piece of foul play leading to an injury replacement . There is a case that the Racing player be banned for the amount of time Biggar is out.
It was 35-14 when Biggar went offpetej wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:48 pm If you late hit Russell and take him out of the match do Racing do so well?

Russell with MOTM I assume but could easily have been Lauret. He and Tanga have had a field day.
Russell doesn't play so well if you smash him up a bit.Biffer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:49 pmIt was 35-14 when Biggar went offpetej wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:48 pm If you late hit Russell and take him out of the match do Racing do so well?

I can't see anyone on any platform talking about a late hit except you.

I always get pissed with cowardly/foul play leading to injuries for personal reasons.

This is not true.
Russell offers himself to the hard hit several times in every match to put other players into space.
He's never hidden in defence, always defending his own channel.
Exactly. Pete's just asshurt from the pumping Saints got tonight.

Tigers fan.
Still don't like Bigger being subbed due to a piece of foul play. If a late hit on Racing key player Russell led to him leaving the field it would have made this a closer match and I really like Russell and would have been most critical if he had been injured by some c*nt hitting him late.
Saints were really naïve and needed to badger the ref a bit more, play up/act especially with a team like Racing. You miss Lawes who certainly wouldn't have given Russell that much space and time.
Admittedly, I should have really written Racing don't play so well if Russell isn't on the field instead of "Russell doesn't play so well if you smash him up a bit."
No one saw the late hit except you. No one anywhere.petej wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 11:01 pmTigers fan.

He really does. Whatever else Russell might be, he’s always been prepared to take a hard hit for the team.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
I’ve actually just noticed it was 35-7 when Biggar went off.Biffer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:49 pmIt was 35-14 when Biggar went offpetej wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 9:48 pm If you late hit Russell and take him out of the match do Racing do so well?
