I drink and I forget things.
Listening to the reasoning coming out of South Africa its like a heavyweight boxer dodging the risky fights they don’t want. Some people try to build a legacy while others first thought is to protect it. It’s a tough position but you’d hope the World Champions would back themselves to get it done.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:07 am So having endured weeks of South African posters trolling NZR for making unilateral decisions, and for wanting their players home by Christmas, it appears that the SARU are intent on destroying SH Rugby because of their selfishness and arrogance? If they withdraw from the Rugby Championship there will be hell to pay!

If SA pulled the plug it would cost the other three nations tens of millions of dollars in TV money. If the relationship wasn't finished prior to this, it would be well and truly finished if SA didn't turn up.Enzedder wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:31 amGenerally decides the argument in pro sport.White conceded that the dire financial implications of not going to Australia would probably force the hand of the South African administrators who must also sort out the conditions around government clearance to send the Springboks overseas amidst the current health crisis.

Hey. Its a unique position to be in. Standing there with our begging bowl watching all you lot doing all the work whilst we take the money. Keep up the good work lads.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:07 am So having endured weeks of South African posters trolling NZR for making unilateral decisions, and for wanting their players home by Christmas, it appears that the SARU are intent on destroying SH Rugby because of their selfishness and arrogance? It sucks....I am very disappointed that we are not taking part. I still don't get the reasoning.
1. We are afraid of Covid
2. Players are not ready so we are afraid to lose.
3. Its a new coach and our DOR has to be with him and is at risk so we are afraid to take the chance.
Just suck it up. Send a development side so we can see what our youngsters are capable of then you have an excuse for coach and players.
It's not the way I would like our relationship to end on a sour note.
A bit shitty for supporters and youngsters.

Then again we could potentially win and some of our youngsters could force their way into the Springbok setup. I believe in my heart that Nienaber is not ready to be a Springbok coach. I cannot think of any coach in the world besides him that would pass up the opportunity to play the ABs. Full credit to the Argies
We’re not running anywhere, muppet. We are stuck with domestic rugby for the rest of the year and probably 1st quarter next year too.
God only knows why you lot think we are happy about it.

Obviously you're allowed to post, we can't point out all the wallaby infringements ourselves.
When you put it like that it is incredible that the Springboks weren’t prepared to come.
Hopefully this helps guys https://www.positivityblog.com/overcome-self-doubt/
Actually the 9ft tall guys from Saturn’s 2nd moon called. They think the Earth finally has a team to challenge them.Jb1981 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 7:39 amWhen you put it like that it is incredible that the Springboks weren’t prepared to come.
